Blow Dryer Attachment Securing Device

Abstract

A blow dryer attachment securing device is disclosed for applying different attachments to blow dryers to utilize different tools when styling and maintaining hair. The blow dryer attachment securing device allows various attachments to remain secured to the blow dryer when applied. The blow dryer attachment securing device comprises a front surface, comprising a grip area, a back surface, hook and loop fasteners, and a buckle component. Additionally, the grip area prevents the attachment from shifting or falling off of the blow dryer. The buckle component allows the width of the device to be adjusted to fit the desired blow dryer. Further, hook and loop fasteners allow the device to be secured into the desired placement on the blow dryer. Finally, the flexible material allows the device to be applied universally to all blow dryers.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A blow dryer attachment securing device comprising:
 a body comprised of a front surface and a back surface;   a fastener positioned on the front surface; and   a buckle component.   
     
     
         2 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 1 , wherein the body is comprised of a heat-resistant material. 
     
     
         3 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 2 , wherein the heat-resistant material is comprised of a rubber or a silicone. 
     
     
         4 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 1 , wherein the fastener is comprised of a hook fastener, a loop fastener, a snap fastener, a button fastener, or a magnet fastener. 
     
     
         5 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 1 , wherein the front surface is comprised of a grip area comprised of a texture. 
     
     
         6 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 1 , wherein the texture is comprised of a raised texture. 
     
     
         7 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 1 , wherein the texture is comprised of a recessed texture. 
     
     
         8 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 1 , wherein the back surface is comprised of a smooth surface. 
     
     
         9 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 1 , wherein the back surface is comprised of a non-slip rubber material. 
     
     
         10 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 1 , wherein the body is comprised of a rectangular shape. 
     
     
         11 . A blow dryer attachment securing device comprising:
 a blow dryer;   a blow dryer attachment; and   a body comprised of:
 a front surface comprised of a grip area and a back surface; 
 a first fastener positioned on the front surface; 
 a second fastener positioned on the front surface; and 
 a buckle component. 
   
     
     
         12 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 11 , wherein the first fastener and the second fastener are comprised of a pair of reciprocating fasteners. 
     
     
         13 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 12 , wherein the first fastener is comprised of a hook fastener, a loop fastener, a snap fastener, a button fastener, or a magnet fastener. 
     
     
         14 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 12 , wherein the fastener is comprised of a hook fastener, a loop fastener, a snap fastener, a button fastener, or a magnet fastener. 
     
     
         15 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 11 , wherein the grip area is comprised of a texture. 
     
     
         16 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 15 , wherein the texture is comprised of a raised texture. 
     
     
         17 . The blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 15 , wherein the texture is comprised of a recessed texture. 
     
     
         18 . A method of using a blow dryer attachment securing device, the method comprising the following steps:
 providing a blow dryer attachment securing device comprised of a body comprised a front surface, a back surface, a fastener, and a buckle component;   wrapping the body around a nozzle area of a blow dryer such that the back surface contacts the nozzle area;   looping the body through the buckle component to form a loop around the nozzle area;   securing the body around the nozzle area by fastening the fastener; and   affixing an attachment over the body to secure the attachment to the blow dryer.   
     
     
         19 . The method of using a blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 18 , wherein the fastener is positioned on the top surface. 
     
     
         20 . The method of using a blow dryer attachment securing device of  claim 18 , wherein the fastener is comprised of a hook fastener or a loop fastener.
