Refrigerator and controlling method therefor
Abstract
A refrigerator according to the present disclosure includes a first tray configured to form a portion of an ice making cell, a second tray configured to form another portion of the ice making cell, a tray temperature sensor configured to sense the temperature of the ice making cell, a discharge spark generator disposed around one of the first tray and the second tray and including an electrode, and a controller configured to control the discharge spark generator to generate a spark from the electrode when it is determined that the water in the ice making cell is supercooled based on the temperature measured by the tray temperature sensor.

2 . The ice maker of claim 1 , wherein the end of the distance between the fourth surface and the second coupling part in the first direction is greater than the distance between the end of the second surface and the first coupling part in the first direction.
3 . The ice maker of claim 2 , wherein the second extension part further includes a third coupling part to be coupled to the second tray, and
a distance between the end of the fourth surface and the second coupling part in the first direction is different from a distance between the end of the fourth surface and the third coupling part in the first direction.
4 . The ice maker of claim 3 , wherein a distance between the end of the fourth surface and the third coupling part in the first direction is different from a distance between the end of the second surface and the first coupling part in the first direction.
5 . The ice maker of claim 1 , wherein a distance between the third surface and the second coupling part in the first direction is different from a distance between the end of the first surface and the first coupling part in the first direction.
6 . The ice maker of claim 5 , wherein the second extension part further includes a third coupling part to be coupled to the second tray, and
a distance between the third surface and the second coupling part in the first direction is different from a distance between the third surface and the third coupling part in the first direction.
7 . The ice maker of claim 6 , wherein a distance between the third surface and the third coupling part in the first direction is different from a distance between the first surface and the first coupling part in the first direction.
8 . The ice maker of claim 1 , wherein the second extension part further includes a third coupling part to be coupled to the second tray, and
a distance between the third surface and the second coupling part in the first direction is different from a distance between the third surface and the third coupling part in the first direction.
9 . The ice maker of claim 1 , wherein the first extension part further includes a fourth coupling part to be coupled to the second tray, and
wherein a distance between the first surface and the first coupling part in the first direction is different from a distance between the first surface and the fourth coupling part in the first direction.
10 . The ice maker of claim 1 , wherein the first extension part and the second extension part have different shapes.
11 . An ice maker comprising:
a first tray configured to form a portion of a cell that is a space in which liquid is phase-changed into ice; a second tray configured to form another portion of the cell; and a second tray supporter coupled to the second tray; wherein the second tray supporter comprises: a first portion configured to support the second tray, and a second portion extending from a predetermined point of the first portion, wherein the second portion includes a first extension part and a second extension part, the first extension part includes a first coupling hole to be coupled to the second tray, and the second extension part includes a second coupling hole to be coupled to the second tray, wherein a distance between the first portion and the first coupling hole is different from a distance between the first portion and the second coupling hole.
12 . The ice maker of claim 11 , wherein the second extension part further includes a third coupling hole to be coupled to the second tray, and
wherein a distance between the first portion and the third coupling hole is different from a distance between the first portion and the second coupling hole.
13 . The ice maker of claim 12 , wherein a distance between the first portion and the third coupling hole is different from a distance between the first portion and the first coupling hole.
14 . The ice maker of claim 13 , wherein a distance between the first coupling hole and the third coupling hole is different from a distance between the second coupling hole and the fourth coupling hole.
