Fingernail and toenail cleaning tool

Abstract

A hand-held nail cleaning tool is disclosed having an elongated body with opposite facing integrated crevicing ends for capturing and removing debris from under and around fingernails and toenails. One end of the body has an angled crevicing end protruding outward and curved towards the other end. The opposite end has an angled crevicing end curved in the opposing direction, also facing outwards. The user can hold the center of the tool and position appropriate facing crevicing end under the side of the nail bed to be cleaned. As the tool is moved, the end captures and removes any debris. The cleaning tool and integrally formed crevicing ends are composed of materials such as plastic, wood, or metal suitable for removing dirt and debris from nails through the ending action. The novel opposing end design provides efficient nail cleaning while being easy and comfortable to use.

A fingernail or toenail cleaning tool, comprising: an elongated body composed of a rigid material suitable for debris removal such as plastic, wood, or metal; wherein the opposing ends design allows for cleaning of both left-side and right-side nails by repositioning the tool in the hand.
