Dishwasher

Abstract

A dishwasher may include: a tub, a water storage chamber disposed below the tub and configured to store water in the tub, a filter disposed inside the water storage chamber and configured to filter water introduced into the water storage chamber, a filter motor configured to generate a rotational force to rotate the filter, and an elastic member comprising an elastic material configured to guide rotation of the filter. The elastic member may include a first body part mountable on an upper portion of the filter and comprising a first opening, and a second body part extending upward from the first body part and including a second opening larger than the first opening.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A dishwasher comprising:
 a tub;   a water storage chamber disposed below the tub and configured to store water in the tub;   a filter disposed inside the water storage chamber and configured to filter water introduced into the water storage chamber;   a filter motor configured to generate a rotational force to rotate the filter; and   an elastic member comprising an elastic material configured to guide rotation of the filter,   wherein the elastic member comprises:   a first body part mountable on an upper portion of the filter and comprising a first opening; and   a second body part extending upward from the first body part and comprising a second opening larger than the first opening.   
     
     
         2 . The dishwasher according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the elastic member further comprises a protruding rib extending upward from the second body part and configured to be bent in an inner direction of the second opening.   
     
     
         3 . The dishwasher according to  claim 2 , wherein
 the filter comprises a first filter,   the dishwasher further comprises a second filter configured to filter water introduced into the water storage chamber and flowing toward the first filter, and   the protruding rib of the elastic member is configured to be pressed by at least one of the second filter and a bottom of the tub.   
     
     
         4 . The dishwasher according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the filter includes a first filter,   the dishwasher further comprises a second filter configured to filter water introduced into the water storage chamber and flowing toward the first filter, and   the elastic member is configured to provide a seal between the first filter and the second filter, or to provide a seal between the first filter and a bottom of the tub.   
     
     
         5 . The dishwasher according to  claim 1 , further comprising
 a shaft configured to be rotated by the filter motor and configured to transmit the rotational force of the filter motor to the filter.   
     
     
         6 . The dishwasher according to  claim 5 , wherein
 the shaft comprises:   a shaft body extending in a vertical direction;   a motor coupling portion formed at a first end of the shaft body and couplable to a motor shaft of the filter motor;   a first hook protruding upward from a second end of the shaft body;   a second hook disposed to be spaced apart from the first hook and protruding upward from the second end of the shaft body; and   a shaft groove formed between the first hook and the second hook.   
     
     
         7 . The dishwasher according to  claim 5 , wherein
 the filter includes a first filter,   the dishwasher further comprises a second filter configured to filter water introduced into the water storage chamber and flowing toward the first filter, and   the second filter comprises a filter body, wherein at least a portion of the filter body is disposed inside the first filter; and a hollow portion formed inside the filter body so that the shaft is insertable therein.   
     
     
         8 . The dishwasher according to  claim 7 , wherein
 the first hook and the second hook of the shaft are configured to pass through the hollow portion and to be caught on an upper end of the hollow portion.   
     
     
         9 . The dishwasher according to  claim 8 , further comprising
 a shaft fixer couplable to the shaft groove so that the first hook and the second hook are maintained in a state of being caught on the upper end of the hollow portion.   
     
     
         10 . The dishwasher according to  claim 5 , further comprising
 a rotating frame configured to connect the shaft and the filter and configured to be rotated by the shaft.   
     
     
         11 . The dishwasher according to  claim 10 , wherein
 the rotating frame comprises:   a filter fixing part mountable on a lower portion of the filter; and   a shaft fixing part connected to the filter fixing part and configured to be engaged with an outer surface of the shaft.   
     
     
         12 . The dishwasher according to  claim 11 , wherein
 the shaft comprises:   a first protrusion protruding from the outer surface of the shaft; and   a first recess portion provided on the outer surface of the shaft and adjacent to the first protrusion, and   the shaft fixing part of the rotating frame comprises:   a passing portion provided such that the shaft passes therethrough;   a second protrusion protruding from an inner surface of the passing portion and corresponding to the first recess portion; and   a second recess portion provided on the inner surface of the passing portion and adjacent to the second protrusion and corresponding to the first protrusion.   
     
     
         13 . The dishwasher according to  claim 2 , wherein
 the filter includes a first filter,   the dishwasher further comprises: a second filter disposed inside the water storage chamber wherein at least a portion of the second filter is surrounded by the first filter; and a third filter disposed above the first filter configured to be placed on the bottom of the tub and comprising a filter hole,   the second filter comprises: a filter body insertable into the filter hole of the third filter; a flange part protruding from an outer surface of the filter body and configured to press downward the protruding rib of the elastic member; and a fixing rib formed on the flange part, and   the third filter comprises a rib groove corresponding to the fixing rib.   
     
     
         14 . The dishwasher according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the first body part of the elastic member comprises:   an inner wall portion forming the first opening and corresponding to an inner surface of the filter;   an outer wall portion disposed to be spaced apart from the inner wall portion corresponding to an outer surface of the filter and extending downward from the second body part;   a connecting wall portion connecting the inner wall portion and the outer wall portion; and   an insertion groove formed by the inner wall portion, the outer wall portion, and the connecting wall portion and having a shape open downward so that the upper portion of the filter is insertable therein.   
     
     
         15 . The dishwasher according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the filter motor is disposed outside the water storage chamber, and   the dishwasher further comprises a motor cover configured to cover the filter motor to reduce water flowing out from the water storage chamber from being introduced into the filter motor and comprising a cover hole configured to drain water flowing out from the water storage chamber.
