Abstract

An information processing system including a processor is provided. The processor is configured to, in a case where a first information processing device and a second information processing device participate in a same web conference, acquire position information of the first information processing device and the second information processing device, measure a distance between the first information processing device and the second information processing device based on the acquired position information, and in response to the measured distance being shorter than a predetermined distance and in response to a sound output unit of the first information processing device being active, control a sound-pick-up unit of the second information processing device to be inactive and control a display screen of the second information processing device to display a message indicating that a howl is likely to occur.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . An information processing system comprising:
 a processor configured to:
in a case where a first information processing device and a second information processing device participate in a same web conference,
acquire position information of the first information processing device and the second information processing device,
measure a distance between the first information processing device and the second information processing device based on the acquired position information, and
in response to the measured distance being shorter than a predetermined distance and in response to a sound output unit of the first information processing device being active, control a sound-pick-up unit of the second information processing device to be inactive and control a display screen of the second information processing device to display a message indicating that a howl is likely to occur

2 . The information processing system according to claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
in response to a sound-pick-up unit of the first information processing device being active, control a sound output unit of the second information processing device to be inactive.

3 . The information processing system according to claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
in a case where the sound-pick-up unit of the second information processing device is inactive, control the sound output unit of the first information processing device to maintain being active.

4 . The information processing system according to claim 2 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
in a case where the sound output unit of the second information processing device being inactive, control the sound-pick-up unit of the first processing device to maintain being active.

5 . The information processing system according to claim 1 , wherein the processor measures the distance by using a global positioning system (GPS).

6 . The information processing system according to claim 1 , wherein the processor measures the distance by using an intensity of an electromagnetic wave in wireless communication.

7 . The information processing system according to claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
control the display screen to display processing for preventing or reducing generation of the howl.

8 . The information processing according to claim 7 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
control the display screen to display a selection screen to switch between prioritizing settings on the first information processing device and prioritizing settings on the second information processing device.

9 . An information processing method comprising:
in a case where a first information processing device and a second information processing device participate in a same web conference,
acquiring position information of the first information processing device and the second information processing device,
measuring a distance between the first information processing device and the second information processing device based on the acquired position information, and
in response to the measured distance being shorter than a predetermined distance and in response to a sound output unit of the first information processing device being active, controlling a sound-pick-up unit of the second information processing device to be inactive and controlling a display screen of the second information processing device to display a message indicating that a howl is likely to occur.

         10 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to:
in a case where a first information processing device and a second information processing device participate in a same web conference,
acquiring position information of the first information processing device and the second information processing device,
measuring a distance between the first information processing device and the second information processing device based on the acquired position information, and
in response to the measured distance being shorter than a predetermined distance and in response to a sound output unit of the first information processing device being active, controlling a sound-pick-up unit of the second information processing device to be inactive and controlling a display screen of the second information processing device to display a message indicating that a howl is likely to occur.
