Abstract
A rotating decanter, including a base that supports and rotates a rotating decanter stand holding a decanter. A method of using a rotating decanter, by opening the decanter, filling the decanter with a liquid, closing the decanter, placing the decanter on the rotating decanter stand operatively attached to a base, and activating rotation of the rotating decanter stand.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
. A rotating decanter comprising a base that supports and rotates a rotating decanter stand holding a decanter.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said decanter contains whiskey.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said base is made of a material chosen from the group consisting of wood, plastic, glass, metal, recycled composite materials, and combinations thereof.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said base includes a rotation mechanism for rotating said decanter and said rotating decanter stand.
. The rotating decanter of claim 4 , wherein said rotation mechanism includes an electric motor and battery compartment for holding at least one battery for powering said electric motor.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said base is in a shape chosen from the group consisting of rectangular, circular, square, oval, star, and heart.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said base includes an activation switch for starting and stopping rotation of said rotating decanter stand.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said base includes an on/off indicator light.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said decanter is a shape chosen from the group consisting of a sphere, bottle, rectangle, and abstract.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said decanter includes an etched map design and is made of glass.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said decanter includes a removable seal.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said decanter includes a fill line.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said rotating decanter stand is operatively attached to said base at a middle portion of said base.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said rotating decanter stand is a platform upon which said decanter rests.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said decanter includes a protrusion at a distal end.
. The rotating decanter of claim 15 , wherein said rotating decanter stand is an arc shape including a first end for holding a proximal end of said decanter and a second end for holding said distal end of said decanter.
. The rotating decanter of claim 15 , wherein said first end includes a u-shaped rest for receiving said proximal end and wherein said second end includes a circle-shaped rest through which said protrusion rests securely.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said base includes at least one glass rest of a recession in said base.
. The rotating decanter of claim 1 , wherein said base includes a plurality of pads made of a material chosen from the group consisting of felt, rubber, and foam.
. A method of using a rotating decanter, including the steps of:
opening a decanter; filling the decanter with a liquid; closing the decanter; placing the decanter on a rotating decanter stand operatively attached to a base; and activating rotation of the rotating decanter stand.
. The method of claim 20 , wherein the liquid is whiskey.
. The method of claim 20 , wherein said filling step is further defined as filling the liquid up to a marked line on the decanter.
. The method of claim 20 , wherein said closing step further includes maintaining airtightness of the decanter.
. The method of claim 20 , wherein said activating step is further defined as activating an activation switch on the base.
. The method of claim 20 , further including the step of a user activating the activation switch to stop rotation and removing the decanter to dispense the liquid into a glass.
. The method of claim 20 , wherein the decanter includes an etched map design, is in the shape of a globe, and is made of glass.
. The method of claim 20 , wherein the rotating decanter stand is an arc shape including a first end for holding a proximal end of the decanter and a second end for holding a distal end of the decanter.
. The method of claim 27 , wherein the first end includes a u-shaped rest for receiving the proximal end and wherein the second end includes a circle-shaped rest through which a protrusion on the distal end rests securely.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
