Abstract
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention there is provided a sheet retainer for retaining sheet smooth and tight over mattress including, one or more adjustment straps circumference said mattress. The sheet retainer further includes one or more locking pins having an inserting cylindrical portion. The sheet retainer further includes one or more retainer bodies having a locking hole with upper, bottom, and middle hole portions. Flexible lock pin slits utilized for locking the locking pin into the retainer body. The sheet retainer body further having strap slide/lock slits for sliding the sheet retainer body along the adjustment straps and locking the sheet retainer body from moving along the adjustment strap after tightening said adjustment strap to the mattress. For tightening a sheet over the mattress, the sheet is spread over the mattress, then user inserts the insetting poltion of the locking pin into the locking hole wide section and slides the locking pin upwards towards the narrow section in the locking hole and by doing so, fixes the sheet to the sheet retainer body, ensuring a smooth and tight fit over the mattress. To prevent the locking pin from slipping out of the locking hole, the locking pin and the locking hole are shaped so that the locking pin is firm and can be opened only by the user and not slide out spontaneously due to pressure.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A sheet retainer for retaining sheet smooth and tight over mattress comprising:
at least one adjustment strap circumference said mattress; at least one locking pin having an inserting cylindrical portion, at least one sheet retainer body having a locking hole with upper, bottom and middle hole portions; flexible lock pin slits utilized for locking said locking pin into said retainer body; said sheet retainer body further having strap slide/lock slits for sliding said sheet retainer body along said adjustment straps and locking said sheet retainer body from moving along said adjustment strap after tightening said adjustment strap to said mattress; wherein for tightening a sheet over said mattress said sheet is spread over the mattress, then a user insert said inserting portion of said locking pin into said locking hole wide section and slide said locking pin upwards towards the narrow section in said locking hole and by doing so, fixes said sheet to said sheet retainer body, ensuring a smooth and tight fit over said mattress whereby, to prevent said locking pin from slipping out of said locking hole, said locking pin and said locking hole are shaped so that the locking pin is firm and can be opened only by the user and not slide out spontaneously due to pressure.

A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein said sheet retainer body further having a convex structure to allow the movement of said locking pin in a convenient manner while sliding in said sheet retainer body and to reduce the required pressure for said retainer body to be embedded and sunk in the mattress circumference surface once pressure is applied on said sheet retainer body.
3 . A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein said retainer body and said locking pin is made of Polycarbonate/ABS alloy (PC/ABS).
4 . A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein said slide/lock slits is Ladderlock strap slits.

A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein pair of strap slide/lock slits are positioned in the left side of said sheet retainer body and in the right side of said sheet retainer body and additional pair of slide/lock strip slits positioned in the upper and bottom portions of said sheet retainer body wherein said additional pair of said pair of slide/lock strip slits are utilized for retaining sheet over adjustable bed types.

A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein said sheet retainer body further comprising a stopper to prevent said sheet retainer body from moving when tightened to a mattress and stay firmly in place in the corners of the mattress or in any desired location along the circumference the mattress.
7 . A sheet retainer according to claim 6 , wherein said stopper is constructed from a plurality of protrusions.
8 . A sheet retainer according to claim 6 , wherein in the bottom portion of said retainer body constructed a convex structure which is utilized for releasing said retainer body from a bed when said retainer body is tightened to said bed and a user wishes to release said retainer body.

A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein said retainer body has a general convex shape in such way that it overlaps to a bed corner and is affixed to a mattress by attaching means selected from a group of stiches, snap fit joints, adhesive or screws and is integrated in the corners of said mattress.
10 . A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein the upper portion of said locking pin comprising a grabbing means.
11 . A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein said inserting portion is a cylindrical-shaped section having cascading diameters portions.

A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein said sheet retainer body having two flexible lock pin slits positioned near the circumference of said locking hole wherein, said flexibility slits impart elasticity to said locking hole, thereby, increasing flexibility, said locking hole is expanded when said locking pin is inserted into said locking pin hole along with the sheet,
therefore, to enable said locking hole to expand under pressure so that the sheet, which is trapped between said locking pin and said locking hole, does not tear; said flexibility slits, and the flexibility they impart, relieve some of the pressure on the sheet.
13 . A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein said inserting cylindrical portion of said locking pin having cascading diameters for locking said locking pin in place and preventing said locking pin from slipping out from said locking hole even when pressure is applied to said locking pin.

A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein in order for said locking pin, when locked to said retainer body will not release or slip out when tightening and locking the corners of the sheet to said sheet retainer or when pressure is applied thereon by the user's weight over said mattress; the width of said upper hole portion is bigger than the width of said middle hole portion and the width of bottom hole portion is bigger than the width of said upper portion and said middle portion holes.

A sheet retainer according to claim 1 , wherein said sheet retainer is further used for an adjustable bed that has at least one hinged lying surface which can be profiled to several different positions, wherein at least one of said retainer body is slidable and lockable through at least one adjustable strap that circumference said one hinged lying surface.
