Abstract

A heated tobacco device includes: an oven for an aerosol generating heat-not-burn consumable article, a closure device including: a closure member mobile between: a closed position, and an open position, an actuator making the closure member mobile move from the open position toward the closed position, wherein: the actuator includes a mass mechanically linked to the closure member, so that, upon tilting of the heated tobacco device in at least one direction, the mass moves under action of its own weight, thereby making the closure member mobile move from the open position toward the closed position. The closure device includes a locker triggerable, upon reaching of the closed position by the closure member, so as to lock the closure member in the closed position.

1 . A heated tobacco device comprising:
 an oven for an aerosol generating heat-not-burn consumable article,   a closure device comprising:   a closure member mobile between:   a closed position where the closure member closes the oven so that the oven cannot receive an aerosol generating heat-not-burn consumable article from outside the heated tobacco device,   and an open position where the closure member leaves open the oven so that the oven can receive an aerosol generating heat-not-burn consumable article from outside the heated tobacco device, and   an actuator making the closure member move from the open position toward the closed position,   wherein:   the actuator comprises a mass mechanically linked to the closure member, so that, upon tilting of the heated tobacco device in at least one direction, the mass moves under action of its own weight, thereby making the closure member mobile move from the open position toward the closed position, and   the closure device comprises a locker triggerable, upon reaching of the closed position by the closure member, so as to lock the closure member in the closed position.   
     
     
         2 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 1 , wherein the mass is pivoting around a rotation axis fixed with respect to a housing of the heated tobacco device. 
     
     
         3 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 2 , wherein the actuator further comprises:
 a lever comprising:   a first pivoting arm, pivoting around the rotation axis, and extending from the rotation axis to the mass, and   a second pivoting arm, pivoting around the rotation axis, distinct from the first pivoting arm, and supporting the closure member, extending from the rotation axis to a locking member lockable by the locker,   wherein the first pivoting arm and the second pivoting arm are disposed on opposite sides of the lever with respect to the rotation axis.   
     
     
         4 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 3 , wherein the first pivoting arm is longer than the second pivoting arm. 
     
     
         5 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 1 , wherein the locker is a magnetic locker locking the closure member by magnetic force. 
     
     
         6 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 5 , wherein:
 the locker is a permanent magnet   or the locker is an electromagnet.   
     
     
         7 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 1 , wherein the locker is releasable by a release actuator triggerable by user mechanical pression or by user touch. 
     
     
         8 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 7 , wherein the locker is releasable by being movable by a mechanical driver. 
     
     
         9 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 7 , wherein:
 the locker is releasable by being driven by an electrical driver.   
     
     
         10 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 the oven comprises:   an elongate recess for receiving an aerosol generating heat-not-burn consumable article, having an open end toward outside of the heated tobacco device and a closed end inside the heated tobacco device, and   a heater disposed close to or against the recess so as to heat the aerosol generating heat-not-burn consumable article,   wherein the closed position is located closer to the open end of the recess than to the closed end of the recess.   
     
     
         11 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 10 , wherein:
 the closed position is located closer to the open end of the recess than to a middle between the open end and the closed end of the recess,   and/or the closed position is located at a distance from the open end of the recess, the distance ranging from half the width of the recess to twice the width of the recess.   
     
     
         12 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 the oven comprises:   an elongate recess for receiving an aerosol generating heat-not-burn consumable article, having an open end toward outside of the heated tobacco device and a closed end inside the heated tobacco device, and   a heater disposed close to or against the recess so as to heat the aerosol generating heat-not-burn consumable article,   wherein the closure member is in the open position when the elongate recess is vertically oriented and when the open end is above the closed end, and   wherein the closure member is in the closed position when the elongate recess is tilted from the vertical orientation and when the open end is above the closed end.   
     
     
         13 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 2 , wherein:
 the oven comprises:   an elongate recess for receiving an aerosol generating heat-not-burn consumable article, having an open end toward outside of the heated tobacco device and a closed end inside the heated tobacco device, and   a heater disposed close to or against the recess so as to heat the aerosol generating heat-not-burn consumable article,   wherein the rotation axis of the mass is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction (X) of the elongate recess.   
     
     
         14 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 1 , wherein there is no locker, triggerable, upon reaching of the open position by the closure member, so as to lock the closure member in the open position. 
     
     
         15 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 6 , wherein the locker is a permanent magnet configured to come into contact with a metallic portion of the closure member, when the closure member moves from the open position toward the closed position, or
 wherein the locker is an electromagnet configured to be activated by a Hall effect sensor configured to detect the mass moving, when the mass makes the closure member move from the open position toward the closed position.   
     
     
         16 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 8 , wherein the mechanical driver is a spring. 
     
     
         17 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 9 , wherein the electrical driver is configured to turn off electrical power supply to the locker, or
 wherein the electrical driver is configured to power on a counter locker whose force exceeds locking force of the locker.   
     
     
         18 . The heated tobacco device according to  claim 17 , wherein the electrical driver is an electromagnet.
