Abstract
A home appliance, particularly a cooling device, includes a body, at least one compartment enclosed by the body for receiving objects, a body inner wall at a side facing the compartment having a wall opening, an illumination unit at the wall opening at least partially illuminating a compartment, and a support assembly defining a receiving space facing the compartment. The illumination unit has a reflector assembly disposed at and fixed in the receiving space, on which a light module provides light and a diffuser emits the light provided by the light module. The support assembly includes a one-piece support assembly body having an inner wall at a side facing the receiving space, and an outer wall at a distance, defining at least one intermediate space between the inner wall and the outer wall.

a body enclosing at least one compartment for receiving objects, said body having a body inner wall provided at a side facing said at least one compartment, and said body inner wall having at least one wall opening formed therein; at least one illumination unit disposed at said at least one wall opening and configured to at least partially illuminate said respective at least one compartment, said at least one illumination unit having a support assembly defining a receiving space facing said at least one compartment; said at least one illumination unit having a reflector assembly at least partially disposed at said receiving space and fixed in said receiving space, a light module disposed on said reflector assembly to provide light and a diffuser disposed on said reflector assembly to emit light provided by said light module; said support assembly including a one-piece support assembly body having an inner wall provided at a side facing said receiving space, and an outer wall spaced at a distance from said inner wall and defining at least one intermediate space between said inner wall and said outer wall.
2 . The home appliance according to claim 1 , wherein the home appliance is a cooling device.

The home appliance according to claim 1 , which further comprises a plurality of intermediate support extensions disposed in said support assembly body and connecting said inner wall and said outer wall to each other at specific intervals, said at least one intermediate space being divided by said intermediate support extensions into more than one intermediate space between said inner wall and said outer wall.
4 . The home appliance according to claim 1 , which further comprises a guiding step, said support assembly body including a guiding channel extending longitudinally and at least partially receiving said guiding step at a side of said reflector assembly.
5 . The home appliance according to claim 4 , wherein said guiding step is at least partially received by said guiding channel at a side of said reflector assembly where said light module is disposed.

The home appliance according to claim 4 , wherein said reflector assembly has a connection knob extension, said support assembly body includes a connection part, said connection part and said guiding channel are disposed at opposite sides of said support assembly body, and said connection part is shaped and dimensioned to receive said connection knob extension to fix said reflector assembly in said receiving space.
7 . The home appliance according to claim 6 , wherein said connection part has internally curved connection extensions on said inner wall defining a space between said internally curved connection extensions.
8 . The home appliance according to claim 1 , wherein said support assembly body has a substantially U-shaped cross-section.
9 . The home appliance according to claim 1 , wherein said support assembly body is an extrusion profile.
10 . The home appliance according to claim 1 , wherein said support assembly body has mutually opposite end parts, and said support assembly includes support assembly end caps configured to at least partially cover said respective mutual opposite end parts.
11 . The home appliance according to claim 10 , wherein each of said support assembly end caps includes an engagement extension shaped and dimensioned in a manner corresponding to said respective intermediate spaces.
12 . The home appliance according to claim 11 , wherein said inner wall and said outer wall have end parts, and said engagement extensions are each disposed inside a respective retaining channel receiving said related end parts.
13 . The home appliance according to claim 11 , which further comprises at least one adhesive element, said support assembly body having adhesion surfaces provided at a side of said support assembly body facing said at least one compartment, said adhesion surfaces being provided in a planar manner allowing said at least one adhesive element to adhere from one side to fix said support assembly body to a wall of said body.
14 . The home appliance according to claim 13 , wherein each of said support assembly end caps has an end cap upper surface provided in alignment with said adhesion surfaces and in a planar manner permitting said at least one adhesive element to adhere from one side.
15 . The home appliance according to claim 1 , wherein said reflector assembly includes a reflector assembly body having a pair of guide channels disposed mutually opposite each other for guiding said light module to extend in a longitudinal direction of said reflector assembly and to be provided in a vertical plane inside a receiving channel or a body space, and said reflector assembly body is an extrusion profile.
16 . The home appliance according to claim 15 , wherein said reflector assembly body has mutually opposite lower and upper end parts, and said reflector assembly includes reflector assembly end caps each configured to be held to a respective one of said mutually opposite lower and upper end parts.
17 . The home appliance according to claim 16 , wherein said reflector assembly end caps include connection extensions configured to engage respective connection holes in said reflector assembly body, and said reflector assembly end caps each include a cap connection tab causing said light module to engage a holding hole.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
