Electrode transfer method and electrode positioning jig
Abstract
An electrode transfer method for transferring ring-shaped electrodes to a solid polymer electrolyte membrane includes: a first subsidiary material installation step of installing a shaft member through a subsidiary material; an anode electrode positioning jig installation step of inserting the shaft member through an anode electrode positioning jig; an anode electrode installation step of installing an anode electrode; a solid polymer electrolyte membrane installation step of removing the positioning jig and installing a solid polymer electrolyte membrane; a cathode electrode positioning jig installation step of inserting the shaft member through a cathode electrode positioning jig; a cathode electrode installation step of installing a cathode electrode; a second subsidiary material installation step of removing the positioning jig and installing the shaft member through another subsidiary material; a shaft member removal step of pulling the shaft member out, and a hot press step of heating and pressing the electrodes from outside.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An electrode transfer method for transferring electrodes to a solid polymer electrolyte membrane, the electrodes including a ring-shaped anode electrode and a ring-shaped cathode electrode that each have a through hole at a center of the electrode, the method comprising:
a first subsidiary material installation step of installing a subsidiary material by insertion of a shaft member through the subsidiary material; an anode electrode positioning jig installation step of inserting the shaft member through an anode electrode positioning jig; an anode electrode installation step of installing the anode electrode around the anode electrode positioning jig; a solid polymer electrolyte membrane installation step of removing the anode electrode positioning jig and installing the solid polymer electrolyte membrane on the anode electrode and around the shaft member; a cathode electrode positioning jig installation step of inserting the shaft member through a cathode electrode positioning jig on the solid polymer electrolyte membrane; a cathode electrode installation step of installing the cathode electrode around the cathode electrode positioning jig; a second subsidiary material installation step of removing the cathode electrode positioning jig and installing another subsidiary material by insertion of the shaft member through the another subsidiary material; a shaft member removal step of pulling the shaft member out; and a hot press step of, after the shaft member removal step, heating and pressing the electrodes sandwiched between the subsidiary materials from outside the subsidiary materials.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein
the subsidiary materials each include a cushioning material and a mold releasing material.
3 . An electrode positioning jig for use in the electrode transfer method of claim 1 , the electrode positioning jig comprising:
the anode electrode positioning jig; the cathode electrode positioning jig; and the shaft member, the anode electrode positioning jig and the cathode electrode positioning jig each having a through hole at a center of the jig, the shaft member being concentrically insertable through the through holes.
4 . An electrode positioning jig for use in the electrode transfer method of claim 2 , the electrode positioning jig comprising:
the anode electrode positioning jig; the cathode electrode positioning jig; and the shaft member, the anode electrode positioning jig and the cathode electrode positioning jig each having a through hole at a center of the jig, the shaft member being concentrically insertable through the through holes.
5 . The electrode positioning jig of claim 3 , wherein
the anode electrode positioning jig has a greater thickness than the anode electrode, and the cathode electrode positioning jig has a greater thickness than the cathode electrode.
6 . The electrode positioning jig of claim 4 , wherein
the anode electrode positioning jig has a greater thickness than the anode electrode, and the cathode electrode positioning jig has a greater thickness than the cathode electrode.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
