Abstract
A flotation device is provided, which comprises: a hull (1) in the form of a buoyancy chamber (1.1), wherein the front end of the hull (1) is equipped with a means (7) for securing a cord, and a cutout (5) is made at the rear end of the hull (1). The hull (1) can be made composite, consisting of the first part (17) of the hull and the second part (18) of the hull, arranged in series along the longitudinal axis of the hull (1) and connected to each other by connecting elements (19) to form of connection that provides possibility of mutual rotation of the first part (17) of the hull relative to the second part (18) of the hull in a vertical plane. The invention increases the efficiency of saving drowning people in open water and reduce mortality during rescuing.

A flotation device comprising a hull, the front end of the hull is equipped with a means for attaching a cord to move the flotation device in the water by a rescuer, and at the rear end a cutout is made in the hull to accommodate and fix the neck of the victim, forming on the sides two symmetrical sidewalls of the hull, while the said cutout is pear-shaped with a depression into the hull along the longitudinal axis of the hull,

3 . The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein the first part of the hull has a buoyancy chamber equipped with a valve for pressurizing the buoyancy chamber, a handle for holding it, and straps for fixing the swimmer's wrist and loops for grabbing and holding the flotation device.

The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein the second part of the hull has a buoyancy chamber equipped with a valve for pressurizing the buoyancy chamber, a handle for holding it, and straps for fixing the swimmer's wrist and loops for grabbing and holding the flotation device, while the second part of the hull additionally contains a means for attaching a cord to move the second part of the hull in water.

11 . The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein the cutout is made with recessing into the hull along the longitudinal axis of the hull by at least 180 mm.
12 . The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein sidewalls are made with a thickness less than the thickness of the hull.
13 . The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein sidewalls are made with the thickness equal to the thickness of the hull.
14 . The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein the cutout is made with a diameter of a circle, inscribed in the part intended to accommodate the neck, in the range from 100 to 150 mm.
15 . The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein the height of sidewalls is selected in the range from 80 to 120 mm.
16 . The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein the cord for moving the flotation device is equipped with a loop for securing the cord to the leg or torso of the rescuer or swimmer.
17 . The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein the length of the cord is selected in the range from 700 to 2500 mm.
18 . The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein the cord is made of material with a tensile strength of at least 10.8 kN.

22 . The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein sidewalls are equipped with straps for fixing the shoulder girdle and torso of the victim relative to the flotation device.
23 . The flotation device according to claim 1 , wherein sidewalls are equipped with an inflatable vest-type element for fixing the shoulder girdle and torso of the victim relative to the flotation device.
24 . The flotation device according to claim 2 , wherein the hull is equipped with a valve for pressurizing the buoyancy chamber, a handle for holding the flotation device, and straps for fixing the rescuer's wrist and loops for grabbing and holding the flotation device.
25 . The flotation device according to claim 3 , wherein straps for fixing the rescuer's or swimmer's wrist are made of material with a tensile strength of at least 950 N.
26 . The flotation device according to claim 3 , wherein loops for grabbing and holding the flotation device are made of material with a tensile strength of at least 950 N.
27 . The flotation device according to claim 21 , wherein the fastener for the victim's neck is made of material with a tensile strength of at least 950 N.

32 . The flotation device according to claim 3 , wherein the hull is made of length in the range from 300 to 1500 mm, width from 300 to 600 mm, thickness from 100 to 200 mm with forming a working volume of the buoyancy chamber of at least 0.01 and up to 0.18 m 3 .
33 . The flotation device according to claim 3 , wherein material of the buoyancy chamber is a rubberized fabric.
34 . The flotation device according to claim 3 , wherein material of the buoyancy chamber is polyvinyl chloride.
35 . The flotation device according to claim 3 , wherein material of the buoyancy chamber provides a tensile strength of at least 950 N, tear strength of at least 98 N.
