Modular Play Structure System

Abstract

A modular play structure system is provided. The system is designed to promote creativity, problem-solving, and physical activity among children through customizable and adaptable components. The system comprises at least one box and one panel, which can be combined in various configurations to construct diverse play environments, including simple structures, obstacle courses, and thematic models such as castles or vehicles. The boxes are preferably three-dimensional, durable, and available in multiple shapes, sizes, and colors, featuring optional openings, inserts, and textured or educational indicia for enhanced engagement. The panels complement the boxes and enable complex designs with flexible attachment mechanisms for stability and ease of use. This system integrates imaginative play with developmental and educational benefits, fostering exploration, creativity, and motor skills.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A modular play structure system comprising:
 a box having a plurality of side walls, wherein the box is comprised of a waterproof material;   a panel attachable to the box, wherein the panel is comprised of the waterproof material; and   a first fastener positioned on a first edge of the panel and a second fastener positioned on a first edge of the box, the first fastener and the second fasteners enabling secure attachment of the panel to the box or to a second panel.   
     
     
         2 . The modular play structure system of  claim 1 , wherein the box is comprised of a cube shape. 
     
     
         3 . The modular play structure system of  claim 1 , wherein the box is comprised of a rectangular shape. 
     
     
         4 . The modular play structure system of  claim 1 , wherein the box is comprised of an arc shape. 
     
     
         5 . The modular play structure system of  claim 1 , wherein the box is comprised of a triangular prism shape. 
     
     
         6 . The modular play structure system of  claim 1 , wherein the panel is comprised of a rectangular shape. 
     
     
         7 . The modular play structure system of  claim 1 , wherein the panel is comprised of a triangular shape. 
     
     
         8 . The modular play structure system of  claim 1 , wherein the panel is comprised of a curved shape. 
     
     
         9 . The modular play structure system of  claim 1 , wherein the panel is comprised of an arched shape. 
     
     
         10 . A modular play structure system comprising:
 a box having a plurality of side walls, a top wall, and a bottom wall, wherein the box is comprised of a waterproof material and a first indicia;   a panel attachable to the box, wherein the panel is comprised of the waterproof material and a second indicia; and   a first fastener positioned on a first edge of the panel and a second fastener positioned on a first edge of the box, the first fastener and the second fasteners enabling secure attachment of the panel to the box or to a second panel.   
     
     
         11 . The modular play structure system of  claim 10 , wherein the waterproof material is comprised of a writable material. 
     
     
         12 . The modular play structure system of  claim 10 , wherein the first indicia and the second indicia are comprised of a three-dimensional indicia. 
     
     
         13 . The modular play structure system of  claim 12 , wherein the three-dimensional indicia is comprised of a simulative texture. 
     
     
         14 . The modular play structure system of  claim 13 , wherein the simulative texture is comprised of a brick, a wood grain, a stone, or a metal. 
     
     
         15 . A modular play structure system comprising:
 a box having a plurality of side walls, a first pre-cut opening, a top wall, and a bottom wall, wherein the box is comprised of a waterproof material and a first indicia;   a panel attachable to the box, wherein the panel is comprised of the waterproof material, a second pre-cut opening, and a second indicia; and   a first fastener positioned on a first edge of the panel and a second fastener positioned on a first edge of the box, the first fastener and the second fasteners enabling secure attachment of the panel to the box or to a second panel.   
     
     
         16 . The modular play structure system of  claim 15 , wherein the first pre-cut opening is comprised of a door or a window. 
     
     
         17 . The modular play structure system of  claim 15 , wherein the second pre-cut opening is comprised of a door or a window. 
     
     
         18 . The modular play structure system of  claim 15  further comprised of an insert. 
     
     
         19 . The modular play structure system of  claim 18 , wherein the insert can be inserted into the first pre-cut opening or the second pre-cut opening. 
     
     
         20 . The modular play structure system of  claim 19 , wherein the insert is comprised of a shutter or a decorative frame.
