Adjustable club head

Abstract

The present invention discloses a golf club having a customizable head weight. The club head comprises an opening for attaching a slotted assembly configured to carry one or more weights. Multiple slots allow for the insertion of different weights to rebalance the center of gravity the club head for a custom-fit for a user.

1 . A golf club head, comprising:
 a main body defining an opening formed on a surface of the main body; and   a slot assembly configured to be received in and detachably couple to the opening,
 wherein the slot assembly comprises a plurality of slots, and 
 wherein each of the slots is configured to receive and detachably couple to a weight. 
   
     
     
         2 . The golf club head of  claim 1 , further comprising a fastening mechanism configured to fasten the slot assembly to the main body. 
     
     
         3 . The golf club head in accordance with  claim 2 , wherein the fastening mechanism is a screw. 
     
     
         4 . The golf club head in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of slots are configured to receive different sized weights. 
     
     
         5 . The golf club head in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the plurality slots comprise at least a first slot having a first set of dimensions and a second slot having second set of dimensions. 
     
     
         6 . The golf club head in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the opening is formed on a sole surface of the main body. 
     
     
         7 . The golf club head in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of slots are distributed along at least a toe end, a heel end, and a center of the main body. 
     
     
         8 . The golf club head in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the golf club head is a putter head. 
     
     
         9 . A golf club, comprising:
 a golf club head, comprising:
 a main body defining an opening formed on a surface of the main body; and 
 a slot assembly configured to be received in and detachably couple to the opening,
 wherein the slot assembly comprises a plurality of slots, and 
 wherein each of the slots is configured to receive and detachably couple to a weight. 
 
   
     
     
         10 . The golf club of  claim 9 , further comprising an adjustable shaft, wherein the adjustable shaft is telescopically adjustable in length; and 
     
     
         11 . The golf club of  claim 9 , further comprising a fastening mechanism configured to fasten the slot assembly to the main body. 
     
     
         12 . The golf club in accordance with  claim 11 , wherein the fastening mechanism is a screw. 
     
     
         13 . The golf club in accordance with  claim 9 , wherein the plurality of slots are configured to receive different sized weights. 
     
     
         14 . The golf club in accordance with  claim 9 , wherein the plurality slots comprise at least a first slot having a first set of dimensions and a second slot having second set of dimensions. 
     
     
         15 . The golf club in accordance with  claim 9 , wherein the opening is formed on a sole surface of the main body. 
     
     
         16 . The golf club in accordance with  claim 9 , wherein the plurality of slots are distributed along at least a toe end, a heel end, and a center of the main body. 
     
     
         17 . The golf club head in accordance with  claim 9 , wherein the golf club head is a putter head. 
     
     
         18 . A golf club head, comprising:
 a main body defining at least one opening formed on a surface of the main body; and   at least one slot assembly configured to be received in and detachably couple to the at least one opening,
 wherein the at least one slot assembly comprises a plurality of slots, and 
 wherein each of the slots is configured to receive and detachably couple to a weight. 
   
     
     
         19 . The golf club head in accordance with  claim 18 , wherein the plurality of slots of the at least one slot assembly are distributed along at least a toe end, a heel end, and a center of the main body.
