Abstract

A nozzle for a cleaner including a nozzle housing including an intake channel configured to suction air, the intake channel extending in a front-rear direction of the nozzle housing and dividing the nozzle housing into a first area and a second area, a first rotary cleaning unit and a second rotary cleaning unit spaced apart from each other in a lateral direction and arranged under the nozzle housing, each of the first rotary cleaning unit and the second rotary cleaning unit including a rotary plate, a driving device disposed in the nozzle housing, the driving device including a driving motor configured to drive the first rotary cleaning unit and the second rotary cleaning unit, and a control board disposed in the nozzle housing, the control board being configured to control a rotation of the rotary plates.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A nozzle for a cleaner, the nozzle comprising:
 a nozzle housing including an intake channel configured to suction air, the intake channel extending in a front-rear direction of the nozzle housing and dividing the nozzle housing into a first area and a second area;   a first rotary cleaning unit and a second rotary cleaning unit spaced apart from each other in a lateral direction and arranged under the nozzle housing, each of the first rotary cleaning unit and the second rotary cleaning unit including a rotary plate;   a driving device disposed in the nozzle housing, the driving device including a driving motor configured to drive the first rotary cleaning unit and the second rotary cleaning unit;   a control board disposed in the nozzle housing, the control board being configured to control a rotation of the rotary plates, the control board being located at one of the first area or the second area of the nozzle housing;   a water tank configured to store water to be supplied to the first rotary cleaning unit and the second rotary cleaning unit, the water tank having a discharge port;   a water supply channel disposed in the nozzle housing, the water supply channel being configured to supply water in the water tank to each of the first rotary cleaning unit and the second rotary cleaning unit, the water supply channel including:
 a supply pipe configured to allow water discharged from the discharge port of the water tank to flow therethrough; 
 a connector coupled to the supply pipe; 
 a first diverging pipe coupled to the connector, the first diverging pipe being configured to supply water to the first rotary cleaning unit; and 
 a second diverging pipe coupled to the connector, the second diverging pipe being configured to supply water to the second rotary cleaning unit; and 
   a water pump disposed in the water supply channel, the water pump being located at another of the first area or the second area of the nozzle housing.   
     
     
         2 . The nozzle of  claim 1 , wherein the control board is arranged to extend in a horizontal direction with respect to a ground. 
     
     
         3 . The nozzle of  claim 1 , wherein the nozzle housing further includes:
 a nozzle base; and   a nozzle cover coupled to an upper side of the nozzle base, and   
       wherein the control board is located on the nozzle base. 
     
     
         4 . The nozzle of  claim 3 , wherein the control board is located on an upper surface of the nozzle base. 
     
     
         5 . The nozzle of  claim 3 , wherein the nozzle base includes a control board installation portion configured to receive the control board to couple the control board to the nozzle base. 
     
     
         6 . The nozzle of  claim 5 , wherein the control board installation portion includes a hook configured to hook to an upper surface of the control board. 
     
     
         7 . The nozzle of  claim 1 , further comprising an adjusting unit configured to adjust an amount of water discharged from the water tank,
 wherein the control board includes at least one switch configured to sense an operation of the adjusting unit.   
     
     
         8 . The nozzle of  claim 7 , wherein the control board is located on a same side of the intake channel as the adjusting unit. 
     
     
         9 . The nozzle of  claim 7 , wherein the at least one switch includes a first switch configured to detect a first position of the adjusting unit and a second switch configured to sense a second position of the adjusting unit different from the first position. 
     
     
         10 . The nozzle of  claim 1 , wherein the supply pipe includes:
 a first supply pipe coupled to an inlet of the water pump; and   a second supply pipe coupled between an outlet of the water pump and the connector.   
     
     
         11 . The nozzle of  claim 10 , wherein the nozzle housing further includes a valve configured to control a flow of water from the discharge port of the water tank to the first supply pipe. 
     
     
         12 . The nozzle of  claim 11 , wherein the control board is disposed at a position opposite to the valve with respect to the intake channel. 
     
     
         13 . The nozzle of  claim 11 , wherein the valve is disposed below the discharge port of the water tank. 
     
     
         14 . The nozzle of  claim 11 , wherein the discharge port of the water tank and the valve are disposed closer to a front end of the nozzle than a rear end of the nozzle. 
     
     
         15 . The nozzle of  claim 11 , wherein the water pump is disposed between the valve and the connector. 
     
     
         16 . The nozzle of  claim 1 , wherein the first diverging pipe and the second diverging pipe are symmetrically disposed with respect to the connector. 
     
     
         17 . The nozzle of  claim 1 , wherein the discharge port and the water pump are both positioned in either the first area or the second area. 
     
     
         18 . The nozzle of  claim 1 , wherein the first area is a left area of the nozzle housing, and the second area is a right area of the nozzle housing. 
     
     
         19 . The nozzle of  claim 1 , wherein a first portion of the control board extends along a rear of the nozzle housing, and a second portion of the control board extends along a side of the nozzle housing. 
     
     
         20 . The nozzle of  claim 1 , wherein the circuit board is located under the water tank.
