Abstract

Provided is a radar device, wherein a transmission array antenna includes a plurality of transmission antennas that are linearly disposed in a first direction, the intervals between respective adjacent transmission antennas of the plurality of transmission antennas increase from one side toward the other side in the first direction, a reception array antenna includes a plurality of reception antennas that are linearly disposed in the first direction, and the intervals between respective adjacent transmission antennas of the plurality of reception antennas decrease from one side toward the other side.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A radar apparatus, comprising:
 three transmission antennas;   four reception antennas;   a radar transmission circuit to which the three transmission antennas are connected and which, in operation, outputs a radar signal; and   a radar reception circuit to which the four reception antennas are connected and which, in operation, inputs a reflected wave signal that is the radar signal reflected by a target, wherein   the three transmission antennas are arranged in a first direction in a first order of a first transmission antenna, a second transmission antenna, and a third transmission antenna,   the first transmission antenna is adjacent to the second transmission antenna at a first interval,   the second transmission antenna is adjacent to the third transmission antenna at a second interval,   a length of the first interval is shorter than a length of the second interval,   the four reception antennas are arranged in the first direction in a second order of a first reception antenna, a second reception antenna, a third reception antenna, and a fourth reception antenna,   the first reception antenna is adjacent to the second reception antenna at a third interval,   the second reception antenna is adjacent to the third reception antenna at a fourth interval,   the third reception antenna is adjacent to the fourth reception antenna at a fifth interval,   a length of the third interval is greater than a length of the fourth interval,   the length of the fourth interval is greater than a length of the fifth interval, and   the three transmission antennas are arranged at different positions from the four reception antennas.   
     
     
         2 . The radar apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the length of the third interval is greater than the length of the second interval.   
     
     
         3 . The radar apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 a first aperture length of the four reception antennas is longer than a second aperture length of the three transmission antennas.   
     
     
         4 . The radar apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 a first sum of the length of the first interval and the length of the second interval is less than a second sum of the length of the third interval, the length of the fourth interval, and the length of the fifth interval.   
     
     
         5 . A radar apparatus, comprising:
 four transmission antennas;   three reception antennas;   a radar transmission circuit to which the four transmission antennas are connected and which, in operation, outputs a radar signal; and   a radar reception circuit to which the three reception antennas are connected and which, in operation, inputs a reflected wave signal that is the radar signal reflected by a target, wherein   the three reception antennas are arranged in a first direction in a first order of a first antenna, a second reception antenna, and a third reception antenna,   the first reception antenna is adjacent to the second reception antenna at a first interval,   the second reception antenna is adjacent to the third reception antenna at a second interval,   a length of the first interval is shorter than a length of the second interval,   the four transmission antennas are arranged in the first direction in a second order of a first transmission antenna, a second transmission antenna, a third transmission antenna, and a fourth transmission antenna,   the first transmission antenna is adjacent to the second transmission antenna at a third interval,   the second transmission antenna is adjacent to the third transmission antenna at a fourth interval,   the third transmission antenna is adjacent to the fourth transmission antenna at a fifth interval,   a length of the third interval is greater than a length of the fourth interval,   the length of the fourth interval is greater than a length of the fifth interval, and   the three reception antennas are arranged at different positions from the four transmission antennas.   
     
     
         6 . The radar apparatus according to  claim 5 , wherein
 the length of the third interval is greater than the length of the second interval.   
     
     
         7 . The radar apparatus according to  claim 5 , wherein
 a first aperture length of the four transmission antennas is longer than a second aperture length of the three reception antennas.   
     
     
         8 . The radar apparatus according to  claim 5 , wherein:
 a first sum of the length of the first interval and the length of the second interval is less than a second sum of the length of the third interval, the length of the fourth interval, and the length of the fifth interval.   
     
     
         9 . A radar signal processing method, comprising:
 outputting a radar signal by a radar transmission circuit to which three transmission antennas are connected; and   inputting a reflected wave signal that is the radar signal reflected by a target by a radar reception circuit to which four reception antennas are connected, wherein   the three transmission antennas are arranged in a first direction in a first order of a first transmission antenna, a second transmission antenna, and a third transmission antenna,   the first transmission antenna is adjacent to the second transmission antenna at a first interval,   the second transmission antenna is adjacent to the third transmission antenna at a second interval,   a length of the first interval is shorter than a length of the second interval,   the four reception antennas are arranged in the first direction in a second order of a first reception antenna, a second reception antenna, a third reception antenna, and a fourth reception antenna,   the first reception antenna is adjacent to the second reception antenna at a third interval,   the second reception antenna is adjacent to the third reception antenna at a fourth interval,   the third reception antenna is adjacent to the fourth reception antenna at a fifth interval,   a length of the third interval is greater than a length of the fourth interval,   the length of the fourth interval is greater than a length of the fifth interval, and   the three transmission antennas are arranged at different positions from the four reception antennas.   
     
     
         10 . The radar signal processing method according to  claim 9 , wherein
 the length of the third interval is greater than the length of the second interval.   
     
     
         11 . The radar signal processing method according to  claim 9 , wherein
 a first aperture length of the four reception antennas is longer than a second aperture length of the three transmission antennas.   
     
     
         12 . The radar signal processing method according to  claim 9 , wherein
 a first sum of the length of the first interval and the length of the second interval is less than a second sum of the length of the third interval, the length of the fourth interval, and the length of the fifth interval.   
     
     
         13 . A radar signal processing method, comprising:
 outputting a radar signal by a radar transmission circuit to which four transmission antennas are connected; and   inputting a reflected wave signal that is the radar signal reflected by a target by a radar reception circuit to which three reception antennas are connected, wherein   the three reception antennas are arranged in a first direction in a first order of a first reception antenna, a second reception antenna, and a third reception antenna,   the first reception antenna is adjacent to the second reception antenna at a first interval,   the second reception antenna is adjacent to the third reception antenna at a second interval,   a length of the first interval is shorter than a length of the second interval,   the four transmission antennas are arranged in the first direction in a second order of a first transmission antenna, a second transmission antenna, a third transmission antenna, and a fourth transmission antenna,   the first transmission antenna is adjacent to the second transmission antenna at a third interval,   the second transmission antenna is adjacent to the third transmission antenna at a fourth interval,   the third transmission antenna is adjacent to the fourth transmission antenna at a fifth interval,   a length of the third interval is greater than a length of the fourth interval,   the length of the fourth interval is greater than a length of the fifth interval, and   the three reception antennas are arranged at different positions from the four transmission antennas.   
     
     
         14 . The radar signal processing method according to  claim 13 , wherein
 the length of the third interval is greater than the length of the second interval.   
     
     
         15 . The radar signal processing method according to  claim 13 , wherein
 a first aperture length of the four transmission antennas is longer than a second aperture length of the three reception antennas.   
     
     
         16 . The radar signal processing method according to  claim 13 , wherein
 a first sum of the length of the first interval and the length of the second interval is less than a second sum of the length of the third interval, the length of the fourth interval, and the length of the fifth interval.
