Structure for installing ceiling-type indoor unit

Abstract

An installation structure for an indoor unit, including: a hanger member configured to be fixed to a ceiling wall and mount the indoor unit to the ceiling wall; and a lower member coupled to a lower portion of the hanger member and including an edge rib extending horizontally outwardly from at least a portion of a lower end of the lower member and configured to contact a ceiling surface.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An installation structure for an indoor unit, comprising:
 a hanger member configured to be fixed to a ceiling wall and mount the indoor unit to the ceiling wall; and   a lower member coupled to a lower portion of the hanger member and comprising an edge rib extending horizontally outwardly from at least a portion of a lower end of the lower member and configured to contact a ceiling surface.   
     
     
         2 . The installation structure of  claim 1 , wherein the edge rib is configured to contact a lower side of the ceiling surface facing an outside. 
     
     
         3 . The installation structure of  claim 1 , wherein the hanger member comprises a support surface bent horizontally inward and configured to support the indoor unit. 
     
     
         4 . The installation structure of  claim 3 , wherein the support surface comprises an opening. 
     
     
         5 . The installation structure of  claim 4 , further comprising a fixing member configured to pass through the opening to fix the indoor unit on the support surface in a state in which the indoor unit is mounted on the support surface. 
     
     
         6 . The installation structure of  claim 3 , wherein the hanger member further comprises:
 a first bend portion bent downward to be perpendicular to the support surface; and   a second bend portion bent horizontally outward from a bottom end of the first bend portion to be parallel to the support surface.   
     
     
         7 . The installation structure of  claim 6 , wherein the lower member is configured to be partially inserted into a space defined by the support surface, the first bend portion, and the second bend portion. 
     
     
         8 . The installation structure of  claim 1 , wherein the hanger member and the lower member overlap a portion of the indoor unit a state in which the indoor unit is installed. 
     
     
         9 . The installation structure of  claim 1 , wherein the lower member is configured to contact at least a portion of an edge of an opening of the ceiling surface, the indoor unit being configured to be positioned in the opening. 
     
     
         10 . The installation structure of  claim 1 , wherein the hanger member further comprises a through portion configured to allow a full-threaded bolt fixed to the ceiling wall to pass there through. 
     
     
         11 . The installation structure of  claim 10 , further comprising:
 a lower nut configured to be fastened to the full-threaded bolt under the through portion and adjust a height of the hanger member; and   an upper nut configured to be fastened to the full-threaded bolt above the through portion and fix a movement of the hanger member.   
     
     
         12 . The installation structure of  claim 1 , wherein the hanger member is a steel or stainless steel material. 
     
     
         13 . The installation structure of  claim 1 , wherein the lower member is a plastic material. 
     
     
         14 . The installation structure of  claim 1 , wherein a shape of the lower member corresponds to a shape an opening of the ceiling surface, the indoor unit being configured to be positioned in the opening, and
 wherein the hanger member is provided in a plurality and the plurality of hanger members are coupled to the lower member.   
     
     
         15 . The installation structure of  claim 1 , comprising a plurality of hanger members and a plurality of lower members, wherein the plurality of hanger members comprises the hanger member and the plurality of lower members comprises the lower member, and
 wherein the plurality of hanger members and the plurality of lower members are disposed in each corner of an opening of the ceiling surface at a position of the indoor unit.
