GRIP PaD

Abstract

A grip pad having a flat shape including a central section having first and second extending sections directed in opposing directions from each other. The first and second extending sections joined together to form a first strap that secures the grip pad to the user's hand. An end section which is cojoined with the central section. The end section having first and second protruding sections that extend out from the flat shape in opposite directions and in the same direction as the first and second extending sections. The first and second protruding sections joined together to form a second strap that secures the grip pad to the user's hand.

1 . A grip pad, comprising:
 a grip pad having a flat surface including a central section having first and second extending sections directed in opposing directions;   the first and second extending sections joined together to form a first strap that secures the grip pad to a user's hand;   the flat surface having an end section which is cojoined with the central section;   the end section having first and second protruding sections that extend out from the flat surface in opposite directions and in the same direction as the first and second extending sections; and   the first and second protruding sections joined together to form a second strap that secures the grip pad to the user's hand.   
     
     
         2 . The grip pad of  claim 1  wherein the first and second extending sections are joined together to form the first strap by sewing an end of the first extending section to an end of the second extending section. 
     
     
         3 . The grip pad of  claim 2  wherein a first joint is formed between the first and second extending sections. 
     
     
         4 . The grip pad of  claim 3  wherein the first extending section is longer than the second extending section. 
     
     
         5 . The grip pad of  claim 2  wherein the end section includes two curvatures that are joined together to form an outer edge of the end section. 
     
     
         6 . The grip pad of  claim 5  wherein the end section has first and second protruding sections that extend out from the flat surface in the same directions as the first and second extending sections, 
     
     
         7 . The grip pad of  claim 6  wherein the first and second protruding sections are joined together by sewing an end of the first protruding section to an end of the second protruding section to form the second strap that secures the end section of grip pad to the user's hand. 
     
     
         8 . The grip pad of  claim 7  wherein the end section has first and second protruding sections that each receive one of the middle two fingers of the user's hand. 
     
     
         9 . The grip pad of  claim 8  wherein the first and second protruding sections are sewed together to form a joint whereby the second strap receives the middle two fingers of the user's hand to secure the pad grip to the user's hand. 
     
     
         10 . The grip pad of  claim 1  for use for combat sports wherein the grip pad is worn with the central section disposed on back of the user's hand. 
     
     
         11 . The grip pad of  claim 10  for use for combat sports wherein the central fingers are located within the openings formed in the second strap so that two outer fingers are located below the first strap and to the outside of the second strap. 
     
     
         12 . The grip pad of  claim 11  for use for combat sports wherein the end section includes two curvatures that are joined together to form an outer edge of the end section. 
     
     
         13 . The grip pad of  claim 12  for use for combat sports wherein the curvatures are disposed on back of the central fingers whereby the grip pad covers the back of the user's hand as well as the back of the central fingers for seamlessly integrating with a variety of combat sport gloves. 
     
     
         14 . The grip pad of  claim 13  wherein the grip pad covers the user's hand as well as the back of the central fingers for a snug fit without compromising mobility and acts as an additional layer of defense against the repetitive stress associated with combat sports. 
     
     
         15 . The grip pad of  claim 14  wherein the grip pad maintains a non-slip grip even during high-intensity training when there is a lot of moisture, perspiration, or even when the grip pad is completely wet. 
     
     
         16 . The grip pad of  claim 1  for use for weightlifting wherein the grip pad is worn with the central section disposed on the palm of a user's hand. 
     
     
         17 . The grip pad of  claim 16  for use for weightlifting wherein the central fingers are located within openings formed in the second strap so that the two outer fingers are located below the first strap and to the outer side of the second strap. 
     
     
         18 . The grip pad of  claim 17  for use for weightlifting wherein the end section includes two curvatures that are joined together to form an outer edge of the end section. 
     
     
         19 . The grip pad of  claim 18  for use for weightlifting wherein the curvatures are disposed on the inner surface of the central fingers whereby the grip pad covers the palm of the user's hand as well as the inner surface of the central fingers for seamlessly integrating with a variety of combat sport gloves. 
     
     
         20 . The grip pad of  claim 19  wherein the grip pad covers the palm of the user's hand as well as the inner surface of the central fingers for a snug fit without compromising mobility and wherein the grip pad acts as an additional layer of defense against the repetitive stress associated with weight lifting.
