Abstract
The subject innovation is directed to an exercise training device and methods for use thereof, and in particular, an experiential self corrective neuro-muscular training device designed to engage and facilitate the stability and movement in all three anatomical planes in training and exercising primary functional movement patterns for the purpose of improving ones biomechanics and reducing the risk of injury.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An exercise apparatus comprising:
a base; a first platform situated situated in the base; and a second platform attached to the first platform; wherein the exercise apparatus is capable of movement in at least two anatomical planes of motion, and wherein movement in at least two anatomical planes of motion is limited by at least one resistance mechanism.
2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least two anatomical planes of motion include the transverse plane and coronal plane.
3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first platform is a sliding platform capable of movement in the coronal plane.
4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the second platform is a rotating platform capable of movement in the transverse plane.
5 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the second platform is a tilting platform capable of movement in the sagittal plane.
6 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the base comprises of a right side and left side capable of independent movement in the at least two anatomical planes of motion.
7 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one resistance mechanism is configured to resist motion of the first platform.
8 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one resistance mechanism is configured to resist motion of the second platform.
9 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one resistance mechanism is configured to resist motion of the first platform and second platform.
10 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one resistance mechanism is configured for a linear resistance.
11 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one resistance mechanism is configured for progressive resistance.
12 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a third platform found in the base, wherein the third platform is capable of movement in the sagittal plane.
13 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one resistance mechanism is in communication with the first platform and is configured to urge the first platform towards the centerline of the exercise apparatus.
14 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one resistance mechanism is in communication with the second platform and is configured to urge the second platform towards the centerline of the exercise apparatus.
15 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a monitoring means in communication with first platform for monitoring motion of the first platform and communicating the motion for feedback.
16 . The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein feedback includes a visual, auditory, or tactile prompt.
17 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the resistance mechanism is selected from the groups consisting of: rubber tubing, rubber bands, spring, coils, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrics, gravity via body weight, gravity via external weights, electric motors, magnets, pistons, combinations thereof and derivatives therefrom.
18 . A method of exercising with an exercise apparatus, including:
providing an exercise apparatus comprising:
a base;
a first platform situated situated in the base; and
a second platform attached to the first platform;
wherein the exercise apparatus is capable of movement in at least two anatomical planes of motion, and
wherein movement in at least two anatomical planes of motion is limited by at least one resistance mechanism;
