Towel dispenser

Abstract

The present disclosure provides towel dispenser apparatus and methods of making and using same.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A top-pull dispenser for towels comprising:
 a housing having a housing back, housing sides, housing bottom, and a detachable top cover connected thereto, wherein the detachable top cover and the housing are offset from vertical by a predetermined offset angle;   an opening in a top periphery of the top cover configured to dispense individual towels therethrough;   an elevator system disposed inside the housing and configured to elevate a support tray along the offset angle;   a spring-loaded mechanism configured to propel the support tray along the offset angle, wherein the support tray includes a generally planar top surface and is slidably associated with the elevator system; and   a locking member for releasably locking the top cover to the housing back and housing sides, wherein the locking member comprises a latch mechanism and is unlockable by depressing the latch mechanism to release the top cover from the housing back and housing sides, and wherein the top cover cannot be removed from the housing without first unlocking the locking member.   
     
     
         2 . The dispenser of  claim 1 , wherein the locking member comprises:
 a mechanical fastener; and   a spring-loaded button configured to enable one-touch activation and disengagement of the top cover.
