Upper body garment assembly

Abstract

An upper body garment assembly for exposing a user's arms for a medical procedure includes a shirt that is wearable on a user's upper body. The shirt has a pair of sleeves that is elongated to cover a full length of each of the user's arms. Each of the sleeves is split thereby to facilitate a medical practitioner to access the user's arms. A pair of closures is provided and each of the closures is integrated into a respective one of the sleeves. Each of the closures is positionable in a closed position for closing the respective sleeve around the user's respective arm. Conversely, each of the closures is positionable in an open position for splitting the respective sleeve to facilitate the user's respective arm to be exposed.

1 . An upper body garment assembly for facilitating a patient in a medical setting to expose their arms for a medical procedure, said assembly comprising:
 a shirt being wearable on a user's upper body, said shirt having a pair of sleeves being elongated to cover a full length of each of the user's arms, each of said sleeves being split thereby facilitating each of said sleeves to be opened for exposing a respective one of the user's arms wherein said sleeves are configured to facilitate a medical practitioner to access the user's arms;   a pair of closures, each of said closures being integrated into a respective one of said sleeves, each of said closures being positionable in a closed position for closing said respective sleeve around the user's respective arm, each of said closures being positionable in an open position for splitting said respective sleeve to facilitate the user's respective arm to be exposed;   wherein said shirt has a torso, each of said sleeves having a cuff and an inseam, said inseam on each of said sleeves extending between said cuff of a respective sleeve and an intersection between said respective sleeve and said torso, each of said sleeves having a cut extending along a full length of said inseam of a respective sleeve; and   wherein said torso has an upper edge defining a top opening in said shirt, said upper edge being annular and sized wherein said upper edge is configured for resting on the user's upper body spaced from a base of a neck of the user.

         3 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein said cut in said respective sleeve facilitates said respective sleeve to be split open for facilitating said respective sleeve to be rolled up thereby exposing the user's respective arm. 
     
     
         4 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 said cut in each of said sleeves has a first edge; and   each of said closures includes a first portion being attached to said first edge of said cut in said respective sleeve, said first portion extending along a full length of said first edge of said cut in said respective sleeve.   
     
     
         5 . The assembly according to  claim 4 , wherein:
 said cut in each of said sleeves has a second edge; and   each of said closures includes a second portion being attached to said second edge of said cut in said respective sleeve, said second portion extending along a full length of said second edge of said cut in said respective sleeve.   
     
     
         6 . The assembly according to  claim 5 , wherein said first portion of a respective one of said closures is mateable to said second portion of said respective closure for positioning said respective closure in either said open position or said closed position. 
     
     
         7 . An upper body garment assembly for facilitating a patient in a medical setting to expose their arms for a medical procedure, said assembly comprising:
 a shirt being wearable on a user's upper body, said shirt having a pair of sleeves being elongated to cover a full length of each of the user's arms, each of said sleeves being split thereby facilitating each of said sleeves to be opened for exposing a respective one of the user's arms wherein said sleeves are configured to facilitate a medical practitioner to access the user's arms, said shirt having a torso, each of said sleeves having a cuff and an inseam, said inseam on each of said sleeves extending between said cuff of a respective sleeve and an intersection between said respective sleeve and said torso, each of said sleeves having a cut extending along a full length of said inseam of a respective sleeve, said cut in said respective sleeve facilitating said respective sleeve to be split open for facilitating said respective sleeve to be rolled up thereby exposing the user's respective arm, said cut in each of said sleeves having a first edge and a second edge;   wherein said torso has an upper edge defining a top opening in said shirt, said upper edge being annular and sized wherein said upper edge is configured for resting on the user's upper body spaced from a base of a neck of the user; and   a pair of closures, each of said closures being integrated into a respective one of said sleeves, each of said closures being positionable in a closed position for closing said respective sleeve around the user's respective arm, each of said closures being positionable in an open position for splitting said respective sleeve to facilitate the user's respective arm to be exposed, each of said closures including a first portion being attached to said first edge of said cut in said respective sleeve, said first portion extending along a full length of said first edge of said cut in said respective sleeve, each of said closures including a second portion being attached to said second edge of said cut in said respective sleeve, said second portion extending along a full length of said second edge of said cut in said respective sleeve, said first portion of a respective one of said closures being mateable to said second portion of said respective closure for positioning said respective closure in either said open position or said closed position.
