Snack board

Abstract

Snack boards and snack board kits are provided. Snack boards include a base section having a first end and a second end, and may include a plurality of base sections interconnected by one or more adapters. Snack Boards also include a first end cap that removably attaches to a first end of the base section and a second end cap that removably attaches to a second end of the base section, or to the second end of a second one of the interconnected base sections. Snack board kits include a plurality of base section sections, each base section having a first end, a second end, as well as a first end cap that removably attaches to the first end of any of the plurality of base section sections and a second end cap that removably attaches to the second end of any of the plurality of base section sections.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A snack board comprising:
 a base section having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, a first side, and a second side opposite the first side;   a first end cap that removably attaches to the first end of the base section; and   a second end cap that removably attaches to the second end of the base section.   
     
     
         2 . The snack board of  claim 1 , wherein the first end slidably receives the first end cap, and the second end slidably receives the second end cap. 
     
     
         3 . The snack board of  claim 2 , wherein the first side and the second side each include at least one receiving hole configured to receive a corresponding push button on the first end cap or the second end cap. 
     
     
         4 . The snack board of  claim 1 , further comprising a lid that removably attaches to the base section. 
     
     
         5 . The snack board of  claim 4 , wherein at least one of the first side or the second side includes at least one receiving slot configured to receive a tab of the lid to secure the lid to the base section. 
     
     
         6 . The snack board of  claim 1 , wherein the base section includes a top surface that is substantially flat. 
     
     
         7 . The snack board of  claim 1 , wherein the base section includes a bottom surface that has a plurality of recessed portions that define a plurality of food holding compartments. 
     
     
         8 . The snack board of  claim 1 , wherein the base section includes two halves that join to form the base section, and a compartment is defined in at least one of the halves, wherein the snack board further comprises a coolant material housed within the compartment. 
     
     
         9 . The snack board of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first end cap or the second end cap is a handle end cap, wherein the handle end cap includes a handle portion and an insertion portion, wherein the handle portion includes a central passthrough and an outer edge and the insertion portion removably attaches to the first end or the second end of the base section. 
     
     
         10 . The snack board of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first end cap or the second end cap is a grip end cap, wherein the grip end cap includes a grip portion having a textured area and an insertion portion that removably attaches to the first end or the second end of the base section. 
     
     
         11 . A snack board comprising:
 a first base section having a first end and a second end opposite the first end;   a second base section having a first end and a second end opposite the first end;   an adapter including a first joining section that removably attaches to the second end of the first base section, a second joining section that removably attaches to the first end of the second base section, and a divider between the first joining section and the second joining section;   a first end cap that removably attaches to the first end of the base section; and   a second end cap that removably attaches to the second end of the second base section.   
     
     
         12 . The snack board of  claim 11 , wherein the first end of the first base section slidably receives the first end cap, and the second end of the second base section slidably receives the second end cap. 
     
     
         13 . The snack board of  claim 11 , wherein each base section includes a top surface that is substantially flat. 
     
     
         14 . The snack board of  claim 11 , wherein each base section includes a bottom surface that has a plurality of recessed portions that define a plurality of food holding compartments. 
     
     
         15 . The snack board of  claim 11 , wherein the base section includes two halves that join to form the base section, and a compartment is defined in at least one of the halves, wherein the snack board further comprises a coolant material housed within the compartment. 
     
     
         16 . The snack board of  claim 11 , wherein at least one of the first end cap or the second end cap is a handle end cap, wherein the handle end cap includes a handle portion and an insertion portion, wherein the handle portion includes a central passthrough and an outer edge and the insertion portion removably attaches to the first end or the second end of the base section. 
     
     
         17 . The snack board of  claim 11 , wherein at least one of the first end cap or the second end cap is a grip end cap, wherein the grip end cap includes a grip portion having a textured area and an insertion portion that removably attaches to the first end or the second end of the base section. 
     
     
         18 . A snack board kit comprising:
 a plurality of base sections, each base section having a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side;   a first end cap that removably attaches to the first end of any of the plurality of base sections; and   a second end cap that removably attaches to the second end of any of the plurality of base sections.   
     
     
         19 . The snack board kit of  claim 18 , further comprising an adapter that removably attaches the second end of a first base section to the first end of a second base section. 
     
     
         20 . A carrying case configured to hold a snack board kit of  claim 18 .
