Open-Interior Boxing Glove

Abstract

The glove fits either a left hand or a right hand since the thumb rests in the same cavity as the fist and allows users to close their fists as tightly as possible around an inside leather finger strap for maximum power and protection when placing a glove on in preparation for boxing activities, whether for personal sport or professional engagement. This unprecedented product has a unique and streamlined design that eliminates excess materials and is made of expert craftsmanship to withstand even the toughest training sessions and fights.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A boxing glove comprising:
 a glove body configured to receive a fist and an overlain thumb of a user and comprise a dorsal aspect, a knuckles adjacent portion and an underside webbing configured to define a cavity comprising a singular volume;   a fingers strap attached to an underside of the knuckles adjacent portion inside the cavity configured to receive the user's fingers; and   a cuff portion comprising an enlarging slit and an adjustable and secure fastening around the user's wrist.   
     
     
         2 . The boxing glove of  claim 1 , further comprising the boxing glove received onto a right hand of the user or onto a left hand of the user. 
     
     
         3 . The boxing glove of  claim 1 , wherein the adjustable and secure fastening is a lace configured to tighten the cuff portion of the boxing glove. 
     
     
         4 . The boxing glove of  claim 1 , wherein the adjustable and secure fastening is a hook and loop strap configured to tighten the cuff portion of the boxing glove. 
     
     
         5 . The boxing glove of  claim 1 , wherein the adjustable and secure fastening is an elastic strap around the user's wrist. 
     
     
         6 . The boxing glove of  claim 1 , wherein the underside webbing extends directly from the knuckles adjacent portion to the cuff portion without any creasing or folding. 
     
     
         7 . The boxing glove of  claim 1 , wherein the underside webbing comprises a mesh fabric. 
     
     
         8 . The boxing glove of  claim 1 , wherein the underside webbing comprises an elasticized material. 
     
     
         9 . The boxing glove of  claim 1 , wherein the fingers strap comprises leather. 
     
     
         10 . The pair of boxing gloves of  claim 1 , further comprising ventilation holes defined in the dorsal aspect thereof. 
     
     
         11 . The pair of boxing gloves of  claim 1 , wherein the underside webbing is adjacent the fingers and thumb of the user. 
     
     
         12 . The pair of boxing gloves of  claim 1 , wherein the knuckles adjacent portion comprises a vinyl fabric and padding. 
     
     
         13 . The boxing glove of  claim 1 , further comprising an absence of a thumb pocket wherein the thumb is overlain on the user's fist in the cavity. 
     
     
         14 . The boxing glove of  claim 1 , further comprising an open interior cavity comprising nothing between the fist and the overlain thumb. 
     
     
         15 . The boxing glove of  claim 1 , wherein the underside is stretchably configured to accommodate the overlain thumb against the fist.
