Double-knitted fabric with excellent elastic recovery properties

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a double-knitted fabric with excellent elastic recovery properties, and more specifically, to a double-knitted fabric with excellent design properties, which is produced by fixing a front fabric to a back fabric, knitted from an elastic composite yarn including an elastic yarn, by a polyester monofilament yarn as a connecting yarn.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A double-knitted fabric comprising: a front fabric; a back fabric; and a connecting yarn fixing the front fabric to the back fabric,
 wherein the front fabric and the back fabric are each composed of a warp-knitted fabric,   the surface fabric is formed of a non-elastic yarn,   the back fabric is formed by interweaving the non-elastic yarn with an elastic yarn, and   the connecting yarn fixing the front fabric to the back fabric is a polyester monofilament yarn.   
     
     
         2 . The double-knitted fabric of  claim 1 , wherein the non-elastic yarn is a multifilament or spun yarn. 
     
     
         3 . The double-knitted fabric of  claim 1 , wherein the back fabric comprises 30 to 80 wt % of the elastic yarn. 
     
     
         4 . A method for producing a double-knitted fabric, comprising:
 a front fabric forming step of forming a front fabric as an upper layer of the double-knitted fabric;   a rear fabric forming step of forming a rear fabric as a lower layer of the double-knitted fabric; and   a fixing step of fixing the front fabric and the rear fabric to each other by a connecting yarn.
