Abstract
An ice-making apparatus of the present embodiment may include a first tray unit forming a part of an ice-making cell, which is a space in which water is phase-changed into ice by cold. The ice-making apparatus may form another portion of the ice-making cell and be in contact with the first tray unit in the ice-making process, and may further include a second tray unit disposed to be spaced apart from the first tray unit during an ice-separating process. The ice-making apparatus may further include a water supply unit for supplying water to the ice-making cell.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An ice making device comprising:
a second one tray that defines a portion of a cell that is a space in which liquid is phase-changed into ice by cold; a second another tray that defines another portion of the cell and arranged to be in contact with the second one tray during an ice making process and to be spaced apart from the second one tray during an ice separation process; and a sub liquid supplier configured to supply liquid to the cell.
2 . The ice making device of claim 1 ,
wherein a position of at least a portion of the sub liquid supplier is changed during the ice separation process.
3 . The ice making device of claim 2 , wherein the sub liquid supplier comprises a liquid supply hole that supplies the liquid, and
a position of the liquid supply hole during the ice making process is different from a position of the liquid supply hole during the ice separation process.
4 . The ice making device of claim 2 ,
wherein the sub liquid supplier is arranged to supply liquid into the cell through an opening formed at one side of the second another tray.
5 . The ice making device of claim 2 ,
wherein while the second another tray moves in a first direction, the sub liquid supplier moves in the first direction, or while the second another tray moves in a second direction, the sub liquid supplier moves in the second direction.
6 . (canceled)
7 . The ice making device of claim 1 ,
further comprising a supporter configured to support the second another tray, and wherein the sub liquid supplier is coupled to the supporter or the second another tray.
8 . The ice making device of claim 7 ,
wherein the sub liquid supplier comprises a liquid supply hole that supplies the liquid, and wherein the liquid supply hole is arranged to be aligned with an opening formed at one side of the second another tray.
9 . The ice making device of claim 8 ,
wherein a diameter of the liquid supply hole is less than a diameter of the opening, of the supporter further comprises a supporter opening aligned with the liquid supply hole and the opening.
10 . (canceled)
11 . The ice making device of claim 7 ,
wherein the supporter comprises a hinge body that provides a center of rotation, a liquid supply tube is connected to the sub liquid supplier to guide liquid to the sub liquid supplier, and the hinge body comprises an extending rib to fix a position of the liquid supply tube.
12 . The ice making device of claim 7 ,
wherein the sub liquid supplier comprises an inlet pipe, a common pipe connected to the inlet pipe, and supply pipes extended from the common pipe, wherein a number of supply pipes is equal to a number of cells.
13 . The ice making device of claim 12 ,
wherein the supporter comprises a supporter opening, the common pipe is located radially outside the supporter opening, and at least one of the supply pipes extends from the common pipe toward a central portion of the supporter opening.
14 . The ice making device of claim 12 ,
further comprising a pusher provided spaced apart from the second another tray by a predetermined distance, wherein while the second another tray moves in a first direction during the ice separation process, the supply pipe is moved in a direction closer to the pusher, or the pusher is configured to provide a path along which at least one of the supply pipes moves during the ice separation process.
15 . (canceled)
16 . The ice making device of claim 7 ,
wherein of the second another tray comprises an opening through which the liquid passes, the supporter comprises a supporter opening in communication with the opening, and the sub liquid supplier is coupled to the supporter to cover the supporter opening.
17 . The ice making device of claim 7 ,
wherein the second another tray comprises an opening through which the liquid passes, and wherein the sub liquid supplier comprises an inlet pipe, and a distribution pipe connected to the inlet pipe and having a liquid supply hole aligned with the opening.
18 . (canceled)
19 . The ice making device of claim 17 ,
wherein the sub liquid supplier further comprises a coupling body to be counted to the supporter, wherein the coupling body comprises a first body extending from the distribution pipe, and a second body extending from the first body in a direction crossing the first body.
20 . The ice making device of claim 19 ,
wherein the coupling body further comprises a coupling extension extending from the second body and coupled to the supporter.
21 . The ice making device of claim 19 ,
Wherein the sub liquid supplier further comprises a protrusion disposed around the liquid supply hole and inserted into an opening of the second another tray, or an outlet opening through which the liquid supplied to the ice making cell is discharged.
22 . The ice making device of claim 21 ,
wherein one surface of the protrusion is rounded to form a portion of the ice cell.
23 . (canceled)
24 . The ice making device of claim 7 ,
further comprising a heater configured to supply heat to the cell during the ice separation process, and wherein the sub liquid supplier is configured to support the heater or a heater coupling portion to which the heater is coupled.
25 . The ice making device of claim 24 ,
wherein the second another tray comprises a heater coupling portion to which the heater is coupled, and wherein the heater coupling portion passes through an opening of the second another tray and the sub liquid supplier is arranged to surround the heater coupling portion.
