Abstract
A sit-to-stand support handle device is provided. The device is comprised of a base and a handle that attaches to the base. The base can be positioned near an area where a user regularly sits, such as, but not limited to, a toilet. When in use, the handle can be pulled downward from the base and used as a support that can be grabbed by a user to provide stability and support as they transition from a seated to a standing position.

8 . The sit-to-stand support handle device of claim 1 , wherein the rotation point is comprised of a pivot pin, a locking pivot pin, a hinge, or a locking hinge.
9 . The sit-to-stand support handle device of claim 1 , wherein the handle is comprised of a pull cord.
10 . A sit-to-stand support handle device comprising:
a base comprised of an opening and a handle support member; a fastener; and a handle attached to the handle support member via a rotation point.
11 . The sit-to-stand support handle device of claim 10 , wherein the handle support member is comprised of a first sidewall, a second sidewall, and a third sidewall.
12 . The sit-to-stand support handle device of claim 10 , wherein the base is comprised of a recessed area.
13 . The sit-to-stand support handle device of claim 10 , wherein the fastener is comprised of a bolt, a screw, or a drywall anchor.
14 . The sit-to-stand support handle device of claim 10 , wherein the handle is comprised of a cylindrical handle.
15 . The sit-to-stand support handle device of claim 10 , wherein the handle is comprised of a grip area.
16 . The sit-to-stand support handle device of claim 15 , wherein the grip area is comprised of a non-slip rubber material.

20 . A method of using a sit-to-stand support handle device, the method comprising the following steps:
