Abstract

An ice chest containing ice wherein instead of opening the lid to remove ice, there is an auger or mechanical lever in the ice chest, which delivers the ice out of a side of the ice chest.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A device for delivering ice in an ice chest without opening a lid of the ice chest comprising:
 a) the ice chest having a lid and interior bottom; and   b) a device for delivering ice positioned on the interior bottom of the ice chest which exits out a side of the ice chest wherein the ice cubes in the ice chest can be removed using the device for delivering ice and wherein the device for delivering ice is hand or battery powered.   
     
     
         2 . The device for delivering ice according to  claim 1  wherein the place where ice exits from can be closed. 
     
     
         3 . The device for delivering ice according to  claim 1  which further comprises a battery powered pump for removing melted ice. 
     
     
         4 . The device for delivering ice according to  claim 3  wherein the melted ice is filtered. 
     
     
         5 . The device for delivering ice according to  claim 1  which is selected from the group consisting of an auger and a mechanical lever.
