Abstract
An air conditioner condenser cover for preventing debris from entering an air conditioner condenser includes a sleeve with a tubular shape, a bottom opening at a bottom end, and a shape configured to fit around a perimeter of an air conditioner condenser. The sleeve is flexible such that the sleeve is configured to conform to the perimeter of the air conditioner condenser. A bottom band is coupled to the sleeve and positioned around the bottom opening of the sleeve. The bottom band comprises a resiliently stretchable material and is biased to constrict the sleeve to mount the sleeve to the air conditioner condenser. A top band may also be employed to surround a top opening of the sleeve and further secure the sleeve to the air conditioner condenser.

1 . An air conditioner condenser cover comprising:
a sleeve having a tubular shape, the sleeve having a bottom opening at a bottom end, the sleeve having a shape configured to fit around a perimeter of an air conditioner condenser, the sleeve being flexible such that the sleeve is configured to conform to the perimeter of the air conditioner condenser; and a bottom band being coupled to the sleeve and positioned around the bottom opening of the sleeve, the bottom band comprising a resiliently stretchable material and being biased to constrict the sleeve.
2 . The cover of claim 1 , wherein the sleeve has a top opening at a top end.
3 . The cover of claim 2 , further comprising a top band coupled to the sleeve and positioned around the top opening of the sleeve, the top band comprising the resiliently stretchable material and being biased to constrict the sleeve.
4 . The cover of claim 1 , wherein a cross-section of the sleeve taken perpendicular to an axis extending between a top end and the bottom end has a rectangular shape when not constricted by the bottom band.
5 . The cover of claim 1 , wherein the sleeve comprises a barrier layer comprising a water-impermeable material, the water-impermeable material being flexible.
6 . The cover of claim 5 , wherein the water-impermeable material is durable such that the barrier layer is configured to resist tears.
7 . The cover of claim 5 , wherein the sleeve further comprises a protective layer coupled to and positioned inwardly of the barrier layer, the protective layer comprising a nonabrasive material such that the protective layer is configured to be drawn against the air conditioner condenser without marring the air conditioner condenser, the protective layer being flexible.
8 . The cover of claim 7 , wherein the protective layer comprises cotton.
9 . An air conditioner condenser cover comprising:
a sleeve having a tubular shape, the sleeve having a bottom opening at a bottom end, the sleeve having a top opening at a top end, the sleeve being flexible such that the sleeve is configured to conform to a perimeter of an air conditioner condenser, the sleeve comprising:
a barrier layer comprising a water-impermeable material, the water-impermeable material being flexible, the water-impermeable material being durable such that the barrier layer is configured to resist tears; and
a protective layer coupled to and positioned inwardly of the barrier layer, the protective layer comprising a nonabrasive material such that the protective layer is configured to be drawn against the air conditioner condenser without marring the air conditioner condenser, the protective layer being flexible, the protective layer comprising cotton; and
a bottom band and a top band coupled to the sleeve, the bottom band being positioned at the bottom end around the bottom opening, the top band being positioned at the top end around the top opening, each of the bottom and top bands comprising a resiliently stretchable material, each of the bottom and top bands being biased to constrict the sleeve; wherein a cross-section of the sleeve taken perpendicular to an axis extending between the top end and the bottom end has a rectangular shape when not constricted by the bottom and top bands.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
