The present disclosure provides an apparatus for facilitating a performance of physical exercises. Further, the apparatus may include a frame. Further, the apparatus may include a reel rotatably mounted to the frame. Further, the cord may be wound around the reel. Further, the first end may be free. Further, the reel may be configured to be based on an application of an action on the first end of the cord. Further, the apparatus may include a resistance assembly coupled to the frame. Further, the resistance assembly may be operatively coupled with the reel using a coupling element. Further, the resistance assembly may be configured for providing a value of a rotational resistance to the rotation of the reel. Further, the apparatus may include a mounting element coupled to the frame. Further, the mounting element may be configured for securing the frame to at least one external support.

1 . An apparatus for facilitating a performance of physical exercises, the apparatus comprising:
a frame; a reel rotatably mounted to a first portion of the frame, wherein the reel is axially rotatable around a reel axis of the reel; a cord comprising a first end and a second end, wherein the cord is associated with a length defined between the first end and the second end, wherein the cord is wound around the reel, wherein the second end is attached to the reel, wherein the first end is free, wherein the reel is configured to be rotated by at least one rotational distance in a first rotational direction based on the rotatably mounting of the reel and an application of an action on the first end of the cord; a resistance assembly coupled to a second portion of the frame, wherein the resistance assembly is operatively coupled with the reel using a coupling element, wherein the resistance assembly is configured for providing a value of a plurality of values of a rotational resistance to the rotation of the reel in the first rotational direction based on the coupling, wherein the rotation of the reel by the at least one rotational distance in the first rotational direction extends at least a portion of the length of the cord from the reel by unwinding at least the portion of the length of the cord, wherein at least the portion of the length of the cord corresponds to the at least one rotational distance, wherein the reel is further configured for rotating in a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction for retracting at least the portion of the length of the cord by rewinding at least the portion of the length of the cord around the reel after the unwinding of at least the portion of the length of the cord based on a removal of the action from the first end; and a mounting element coupled to the frame, wherein the mounting element is configured for securing the frame to at least one external support.
2 . The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising at least one cord element comprised in the first end of the cord, wherein the at least one cord element is configured for allowing attaching of the cord to at least one accessory.

The apparatus of claim 1 further comprises a resistance adjusting assembly comprising at least one resistance adjusting mechanism and a resistance input element operatively coupled with the at least one resistance adjusting mechanism, wherein the at least one resistance adjusting mechanism is operatively coupled with the resistance assembly, wherein the resistance input element is configured for:
receiving at least one resistance adjusting action; and
transitioning the resistance input element to a state of a plurality of states based on the at least one resistance action, wherein the at least one resistance adjusting mechanism is configured for transitioning to a first state of a plurality of first states based on the transitioning of the resistance adjusting mechanism to the state, wherein the providing of the value of the plurality of values of the rotational resistance to the rotation of the reel in the first rotational direction is further based on the transitioning of the at least one resistance adjusting mechanism to the first state of the plurality of first states.

The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the mounting element comprises a base panel attached to a rear side of the frame, a first side panel extending from a first side of the base panel, and a second side panel extending from a second side of the base panel, wherein the first side opposes the second side, wherein each of the first side panel, the base panel, and the second side panel is configured for wrapping at least partially around at least a portion of the at least one external support for the securing of the frame to the at least one external support.

The apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the first side panel, the base panel, and the second side panel define a recessed space of the mounting element, wherein the wrapping comprises receiving at least the portion of the at least one external support in the recessed space, wherein at least one of the first side panel and the second side panel comprises at least one panel hole, wherein at least the portion of the at least one external support comprises at least one hole, wherein the at least one panel hole is configured to be engaged with the at least one hole using at least one hole engaging element based on the receiving of at least the portion of the at least one external support.

The apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the first side panel comprises a first additional hole, and the second side panel comprises a second additional hole, wherein the first additional hole is configured to be engaged with the second additional hole using a strap based on the wrapping, wherein the strap wraps around at least the portion of the at least one external support.

The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising a roller rotatably coupled to the frame, wherein the roller is configured to be rotated about a roller axis based on the rotatably coupling, wherein the cord passes at least partially around the roller during the extending and the retracting of the cord, wherein the roller is configured for rotatably supporting the cord during the extending and the retracting of the cord based on the passing of the cord at least partially around the roller.
8 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the frame is comprised at least one frame panel, wherein the at least one frame panel defines a frame interior space, wherein the reel and the resistance assembly are disposed in the frame interior space.
9 . The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein a front frame panel of the at least one frame panel is comprised on a front side of the frame, wherein the front frame panel comprises a cord opening, wherein the extending and the retracting of the cord is through the cord opening.
10 . The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising:
at least one sensor disposed on the frame proximal to the reel, wherein the at least one sensor is configured for detecting the rotating of the reel in at least one of the first rotational direction and the second rotational direction;
a processing device disposed on the frame, wherein the processing device is communicatively coupled with the at least one sensor, wherein the processing device is configured for:
generating at least one sensor data based on the detecting of the rotation of the reel;
analyzing the at least one sensor data;
determining at least one exercise parameter associated with the performance of at least one exercise using the apparatus based on the analyzing of the at least one sensor data; and
generating at least one exercise data associated with the performance of the at least one exercise based on the at least one exercise parameter; and
at least one output device disposed on the frame, wherein the at least one output device is communicatively coupled with the processing device, wherein the at least one output device is configured for presenting the at least one exercise data.
11 . The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising:
at least one input device configured for receiving at least one input;
a processing device disposed on the frame, wherein the processing device is communicatively coupled with the at least one input device, wherein the processing device is configured for:
generating at least one input data based on the receiving of the at least one input;
analyzing the at least one input data;
determining the value of the rotational resistance based on the analyzing of the at least one input data; and
generating at least one command for the providing of the value of the rotational resistance based on the determining of the value; and
at least one resistance adjusting mechanism operatively coupled with the processing device, wherein the at least one resistance adjusting mechanism is configured for transitioning to a first state of a plurality of first states based on the at least one command, wherein the providing of the value of the plurality of values of the rotational resistance to the rotation of the reel in the first rotational direction is further based on the transitioning of the at least one resistance adjusting mechanism to the first state of the plurality of first states.

The apparatus of claim 11 further comprising at least one user sensor communicatively coupled with the processing device, wherein the at least one user sensor is configured for detecting at least one of a physiological state and a physical state of a user performing at least one physical exercise using the apparatus, wherein the processing device is further configured for:
generating at least one user sensor data based on the detecting of at least one of the physiological state and the physical state of the user; and
analyzing the at least one user sensor data, wherein the determining of the value of the rotational resistance is further based on the analyzing of the at least one user sensor data.
13 . The apparatus of claim 11 further comprising at least one environment sensor communicatively coupled with the processing device, wherein the at least one environment sensor is configured for detecting at least one condition of an environment of a user performing at least one physical exercise using the apparatus, wherein the processing device is further configured for:
generating at least one environment sensor data based on the detecting of the at least one condition of the environment; and
analyzing the at least one environment sensor data, wherein the determining of the value of the rotational resistance is further based on the analyzing of the at least one environment sensor data.
14 . The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the processing device is further configured for:
determining at least one securing parameter for the securing of the frame to the at least one external support based on the analyzing of the at least one input data; and generating at least one recommendation for the securing of the frame, wherein the apparatus further comprises at least one output device communicatively coupled with the processing device, wherein the at least one output device is configured for presenting the at least one recommendation.

The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the coupling element comprises a first coupler, a second coupler, and a coupler engaging element, wherein the first coupler is coupled with the reel, wherein the second coupler is coupled with the resistance assembly, wherein the coupler engaging element engages the first coupler with the second coupler.

The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the first coupler is configured to be transitioned between an engaged state and a disengaged state, wherein the first coupler is in the engaged state during the rotation of the reel in the first rotational direction, wherein the first coupler is in the disengaged state during the rotation of the reel in the second rotational state, wherein the providing of the value of the rotational resistance is further based on the engaged state of the first coupler.
17 . An apparatus for facilitating a performance of physical exercises, the apparatus comprising:
a frame comprised of at least one frame panel, wherein the at least one frame panel defines a frame interior space; a reel rotatably mounted to a first portion of the frame, wherein the reel is disposed in the frame interior space, wherein the reel is axially rotatable around a reel axis of the reel; a cord comprising a first end and a second end, wherein the cord is associated with a length defined between the first end and the second end, wherein the cord is wound around the reel, wherein the second end is attached to the reel, wherein the first end is free, wherein the reel is configured to be rotated by at least one rotational distance in a first rotational direction based on the rotatably mounting of the reel and an application of an action on the first end of the cord; at least one cord element comprised in the first end of the cord, wherein the at least one cord element is configured for allowing attaching of the cord to at least one accessory; a resistance assembly coupled to a second portion of the frame, wherein the resistance assembly is disposed in the frame interior space, wherein the resistance assembly is operatively coupled with the reel using a coupling element, wherein the resistance assembly is configured for providing a value of a plurality of values of a rotational resistance to the rotation of the reel in the first rotational direction based on the coupling, wherein the rotation of the reel by the at least one rotational distance in the first rotational direction extends at least a portion of the length of the cord from the reel by unwinding at least the portion of the length of the cord, wherein at least the portion of the length of the cord corresponds to the at least one rotational distance, wherein the reel is further configured for rotating in a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction for retracting at least the portion of the length of the cord by rewinding at least the portion of the length of the cord around the reel after the unwinding of at least the portion of the length of the cord based on a removal of the action from the first end; and a mounting element coupled to the frame, wherein the mounting element is configured for securing the frame to at least one external support.

The apparatus of claim 17 further comprises a resistance adjusting assembly comprising at least one resistance adjusting mechanism and a resistance input element operatively coupled with the at least one resistance adjusting mechanism, wherein the at least one resistance adjusting mechanism is operatively coupled with the resistance assembly, wherein the resistance input element is configured for:
receiving at least one resistance adjusting action; and
transitioning the resistance input element to a state of a plurality of states based on the at least one resistance action, wherein the at least one resistance adjusting mechanism is configured for transitioning to a first state of a plurality of first states based on the transitioning of the resistance adjusting element to the state, wherein the providing of the value of the plurality of values of the rotational resistance to the rotation of the reel in the first rotational direction is further based on the transitioning of the at least one resistance adjusting mechanism to the first state of the plurality of first states
19 . The apparatus of claim 17 , wherein a front frame panel of the at least one frame panel is comprised on a front side of the frame, wherein the front frame panel comprises a cord opening, wherein the extending and the retracting of the cord is through the cord opening.
20 . An apparatus for facilitating a performance of physical exercises, the apparatus comprising:
a frame comprised of at least one frame panel, wherein the at least one frame panel defines a frame interior space; a reel rotatably mounted to a first portion of the frame, wherein the reel is disposed in the frame interior space, wherein the reel is axially rotatable around a reel axis of the reel; a cord comprising a first end and a second end, wherein the cord is associated with a length defined between the first end and the second end, wherein the cord is wound around the reel, wherein the second end is attached to the reel, wherein the first end is free, wherein the reel is configured to be rotated by at least one rotational distance in a first rotational direction based on the rotatably mounting of the reel and an application of an action on the first end of the cord; at least one cord element comprised in the first end of the cord, wherein the at least one cord element is configured for allowing attaching of the cord to at least one accessory; a resistance assembly coupled to a second portion of the frame, wherein the resistance assembly is disposed in the frame interior space, wherein the resistance assembly is operatively coupled with the reel using a coupling element, wherein the resistance assembly is configured for providing a value of a plurality of values of a rotational resistance to the rotation of the reel in the first rotational direction based on the coupling, wherein the rotation of the reel by the at least one rotational distance in the first rotational direction extends at least a portion of the length of the cord from the reel by unwinding at least the portion of the length of the cord, wherein at least the portion of the length of the cord corresponds to the at least one rotational distance, wherein the reel is further configured for rotating in a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction for retracting at least the portion of the length of the cord by rewinding at least the portion of the length of the cord around the reel after the unwinding of at least the portion of the length of the cord based on a removal of the action from the first end; and a mounting element coupled to the frame, wherein the mounting element is configured for securing the frame to at least one external support, wherein the mounting element comprises a base panel attached to a rear side of the frame, a first side panel extending from a first side of the base panel, and a second side panel extending from a second side of the base panel, wherein the first side opposes the second side, wherein each of the first side panel, the base panel, and the second side panel is configured for wrapping at least partially around at least a portion of the at least one external support for the securing of the frame to the at least one external support.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
