Abstract

A vacuum cleaner including: a main body; a cleaner head; a pipe structure connecting the main body and the cleaner head, the pipe structure including a main pipe connected to the cleaner head, and a first pipe connected to the main body and disposed within the main pipe to be slidable along the longitudinal direction of the main pipe; a support member disposed on the first pipe along the longitudinal direction of the first pipe, the support member including a rail groove formed at one end thereof; and connection cap mounted on an end of the first pipe which is opposite to the end connected to the main body.

1 . A cleaner, comprising:
 a body;   a cleaner head;   a pipe structure configured to connect the body and the cleaner head, and including a plurality of pipes including a first pipe that is slidable with respect to an adjacent pipe of the plurality of pipes to extend and retract the pipe structure;   a support member on the first pipe along a longitudinal direction of the first pipe and including a rail groove at one end of the support member; and   a connection cap including a pipe coupling part coupled to the first pipe and a support member coupling part coupled to the one end of the support member,   wherein the support member coupling part includes a guide rail configured to be coupled to the rail groove.   
     
     
         2 . The cleaner of  claim 1 , wherein the first pipe is made of a carbon material, a glass material or an aluminum material. 
     
     
         3 . The cleaner of  claim 1 , wherein the guide rail extends in the longitudinal direction of the first pipe. 
     
     
         4 . The cleaner of  claim 1 , wherein a thickness of the guide rail increases as the guide rail approaches an outer end of the connection cap. 
     
     
         5 . The cleaner of  claim 1 , wherein a length of the guide rail is 10% or more of a length of the first pipe. 
     
     
         6 . The cleaner of  claim 1 , wherein
 the first pipe includes an anti-rotation groove at a portion of the first pipe where the connection cap is mounted, and   the connection cap includes an anti-rotation protrusion that is insertable into the anti-rotation groove.   
     
     
         7 . The cleaner of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of pipes includes a second pipe adjacent to the first pipe and slidable in the first pipe. 
     
     
         8 . The cleaner of  claim 7 , wherein the first pipe and the second pipe are in fluid communication with each other. 
     
     
         9 . The cleaner of  claim 7 , wherein the second pipe is made of a carbon material, a glass material or an aluminum material. 
     
     
         10 . The cleaner of  claim 7 , further comprising:
 a sealing member configured to seal a space between the first pipe and the second pipe when the first pipe slides.   
     
     
         11 . The cleaner of  claim 10 , wherein a portion of the sealing member is secured to an inner circumferential surface of the second pipe. 
     
     
         12 . An extension pipe configured to connect a body of a vacuum cleaner with a cleaner head to form a suction passage, the extension pipe comprising:
 a pipe structure including a plurality of pipes, and the plurality of pipes including a first pipe that is slidable with respect to an adjacent pipe of the plurality of pipes to extend and retract the extension pipe;   a support member on the first pipe along a longitudinal direction of the first pipe and including a rail groove at one end of the support member; and   a connection cap including a pipe coupling part coupled to the first pipe and a support member coupling part coupled to the one end of the support member,   wherein the support member coupling part includes a guide rail configured to be coupled to the rail groove.   
     
     
         13 . The extension pipe of  claim 12 , wherein the first pipe is made of a carbon material, a glass material or an aluminum material. 
     
     
         14 . The extension pipe of  claim 12 , wherein a thickness of the guide rail increases as the guide rail approaches an outer end of the connection cap. 
     
     
         15 . The extension pipe of  claim 12 , wherein a length of the guide rail is 10% or more of a length of the first pipe ( 412 ). 
     
     
         16 . The extension pipe of  claim 12 , wherein
 the first pipe includes an anti-rotation groove at an end of the first pipe on which the connection cap is mounted, and   the connection cap includes an anti-rotation protrusion protruding as to be to insertable into the anti-rotation groove.   
     
     
         17 . The extension pipe of  claim 12 , wherein the first pipe includes:
 a body coupling groove at a side end of the body; and   a body connection member fit-coupled to the body coupling groove and detachably coupled to the body, serving as a connection member connecting the side end of the body and the body.   
     
     
         18 . The extension pipe of  claim 17 , wherein
 an other end of the support member is coupled to the body connection member, and   the body connection member includes an insertion groove formed so that the other end of the support member is insertable into the insertion groove.
