Abstract

A baby bouncer comprising a telescopic base, a seat, and an insert. The telescopic base comprises an outer shell portion and an inner extending portion located at least partially within the outer shell portion; an adjustable upper support pivotally coupled to the telescopic base; a connection limb having a first end operatively coupled to the adjustable upper support and a second end operatively coupled to the inner extending portion; an actuation pedal for adjusting an angle of the adjustable upper support in relation to the telescopic base; and a safety lock disposed on the telescopic base. The bouncer seat has a receiving area and an attachment pocket. The removable insert is received in the receiving area of the seat and receives an infant.

1 . A baby bouncer, comprising:
 a base for positioning the baby bouncer on a support surface;   an upper support pivotally coupled to the base,
 wherein pivotally rotating the upper support adjusts an angle of the upper support relative to the base; 
   a bouncer seat coupled to the upper support,
 wherein the bouncer seat comprises:
 a receiving region; 
 a first bouncer seat attachment member; and 
 a second bouncer seat attachment member; 
 
   a removable insert for securement to the receiving region,
 wherein the removable insert is configured to receive an infant when the removable insert is placed in the receiving region; and 
   a harness, cooperative with the first bouncer seat attachment member and the second bouncer seat attachment member for securing the infant in the bouncer seat,
 wherein the harness is detachable from the first bouncer seat attachment member and the second bouncer seat attachment member. 
   
     
     
         2 . The baby bouncer of  claim 1 , wherein the harness further comprises:
 a lower attachment portion,   a left attachment arm,
 wherein the left attachment arm couples to the first bouncer seat attachment member to thereby secure the left attachment arm to the bouncer seat; and 
   a right attachment arm,
 wherein the right attachment arm couples to the second bouncer seat attachment member to thereby secure the right attachment arm to the bouncer seat. 
   
     
     
         3 . The baby bouncer of  claim 1 ,
 wherein the removable insert comprises a retaining member,   wherein the retaining member receives at least a portion of the harness to thereby secure the removable insert to the bouncer seat.   
     
     
         4 . The baby bouncer of  claim 2 ,
 wherein the lower attachment portion couples to a lower harness receiving member comprised on the bouncer seat to thereby secure the harness to the bouncer seat.   
     
     
         5 . The baby bouncer of  claim 4 ,
 wherein the lower attachment portion is detachable from the lower harness receiving member to thereby remove the harness from the baby bouncer.   
     
     
         6 . The baby bouncer of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 an entertainment bar removably coupled to the upper support,
 wherein at least a portion of the entertainment bar is positioned above the infant when the entertainment bar is coupled to the upper support. 
   
     
     
         7 . The baby bouncer of  claim 6 ,
 wherein pivotally rotating the upper support to a first position adjusts the angle of the upper support relative to the base to a first angle,   wherein pivotally rotating the upper support to a second position adjusts the angle of the upper support relative to the base to a second angle greater than the first angle,   wherein pivotally rotating the upper support to a third position adjusts the angle of the upper support relative to the base to a third angle greater than the second angle.   
     
     
         8 . The baby bouncer of  claim 7 ,
 wherein pivotally rotating the upper support to a fourth position adjusts the angle of the upper support relative to the base such that the upper support is in a closed configuration,   wherein, in the closed configuration, the upper support is proximate the base.   
     
     
         9 . The baby bouncer of  claim 1 ,
 wherein adjusting the angle of the upper support relative to the base also adjusts a height of the upper support.   
     
     
         10 . The baby bouncer of  claim 1 ,
 wherein the base comprises an anchor defined by a distal end of the base,   wherein the anchor defines an open portion and is configured to stabilize the baby bouncer on the support surface.   
     
     
         11 . A baby bouncer, comprising:
 a base for positioning the baby bouncer on a support surface;   an upper support pivotally coupled to the base,
 wherein pivotal rotation of the upper support adjusts an angle of the upper support relative to the base; 
   a bouncer seat coupled to the upper support comprising:
 a receiving region; 
 a first bouncer seat attachment member; and 
 a second bouncer seat attachment member; 
   a removable insert for placement in the receiving region and configured to receive an infant,
 wherein the removable insert comprises a first retaining member and a second retaining member; and 
 wherein inserting at least a portion of the first bouncer seat attachment member through the first retaining member and inserting at least a portion of the second bouncer seat attachment member through the second retaining member secures the removable insert to the bouncer seat; and 
   a harness configured to fasten to the first bouncer seat attachment member and fasten to the second bouncer seat attachment member to thereby secure the harness to the bouncer seat.   
     
     
         12 . The baby bouncer of  claim 11 , further comprising:
 an entertainment bar removably coupled to the upper support, the entertainment bar configured for attaching one or more toys, visual objects, or other items for entertaining the infant.   
     
     
         13 . The baby bouncer of  claim 11 , wherein the harness further comprises:
 a left attachment arm,   a right attachment arm; and   a lower attachment portion,   wherein the lower attachment portion is configured to define openings in cooperation with the left attachment arm and the right attachment arm when securing the harness to the bouncer seat,   wherein the openings are configured to receive legs of the infant.   
     
     
         14 . The baby bouncer of  claim 13 ,
 wherein the left attachment arm and the right attachment arm are positioned proximate a waist of the infant when the harness is secured to the bouncer seat.   
     
     
         15 . The baby bouncer of  claim 14 ,
 wherein the bouncer seat comprises a lower harness receiving member configured to fasten to the lower attachment portion, the left attachment arm is configured to fasten to the first bouncer seat attachment member, and the right attachment arm is configured to fasten to the second bouncer seat attachment member when the harness is secured to the bouncer seat,   wherein the lower attachment portion is detachable from the lower harness receiving member, the left attachment arm is detachable from the first bouncer seat attachment member, and the right attachment arm is detachable from the second bouncer seat attachment member to thereby remove the harness from the baby bouncer.   
     
     
         16 . The baby bouncer of  claim 11 ,
 wherein the bouncer seat defines a left edgewall and a right edgewall,   wherein the first bouncer seat attachment member couples to the left edgewall and the second bouncer seat attachment member couples to the right edgewall.   
     
     
         17 . The baby bouncer of  claim 11 ,
 wherein the base comprises an anchor defined by a distal end of the base,   wherein the anchor defines an open portion and is configured to stabilize the baby bouncer on the support surface.   
     
     
         18 . The baby bouncer of  claim 11 , further comprising:
 wherein pivotally rotating the upper support to a first position adjusts the angle of the upper support relative to the base to a first angle,   wherein pivotally rotating the upper support to a second position adjusts the angle of the upper support relative to the base to a second angle greater than the first angle,   wherein pivotally rotating the upper support to a third position adjusts the angle of the upper support relative to the base to a third angle greater than the second angle.   
     
     
         19 . The baby bouncer of  claim 18 ,
 wherein pivotally rotating the upper support to a fourth position adjusts the angle of the upper support relative to the base such that the upper support is in a closed configuration,   wherein, in the closed configuration, the upper support is proximate the base.   
     
     
         20 . A method of instructing securing a harness and insert in a baby bouncer, the method comprising:
 providing the baby bouncer, the baby bouncer comprising:
 a base for positioning the baby bouncer on a support surface; 
 an upper support pivotally coupled to the base,
 wherein pivotal rotation of the upper support adjusts an angle of the upper support relative to the base; and 
 
 a bouncer seat coupled to the upper support and comprising:
 a receiving region; 
 a first bouncer seat attachment member; and 
 a second bouncer seat attachment member; 
 
   providing a removable insert for placement in the receiving region,
 wherein the removable insert comprises a first retaining member and a second retaining member; 
   providing the harness for securing an infant in the bouncer seat;   instructing placement of the removable insert in the receiving region,
 wherein placing the removable insert in the receiving region configures the removable insert to receive the infant; 
   instructing attaching the removable insert to the bouncer seat,
 wherein inserting at least a portion of the first bouncer seat attachment member through the first retaining member and inserting at least a portion of the second bouncer seat attachment member through the second retaining member secures the removeable insert in the receiving region of the bouncer seat; and 
   instructing fastening the harness to the bouncer seat,
 wherein coupling the harness to at least one of the first bouncer seat attachment member and the second bouncer seat attachment member attaches the harness to the bouncer seat.
