Claims

Abstract

An image processing system, an image processing method, and a program capable of implementing an association of a person appearing in a video image through a simple operation are provided. The image processing system includes an input device which accepts input of video images captured by a plurality of video cameras, a display screen generating unit which causes a display device to display at least one video image among the video images inputted from the input device, and a tracked person registering unit which is capable of registering one or more persons appearing in the video image displayed by the display device. When a person appears in the video image displayed by the display device, the display screen generating unit selectably displays person images of one or more persons, which are associable with the person appearing in the video image and which are registered by the tracked person registering unit, in a vicinity of the video image.

         2 . A person tracking apparatus comprising:
 one or more non-transitory storage devices configured to store instructions; and   one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to:   receive a first video captured by a first camera and a second video captured by a second camera; and   in response to determining a monitored person shown in the first video, cause a display device to display a thumbnail image with the first video in a same displayed screen, the thumbnail image being a part of the second video and including a person determined to have a similarity to the monitored person appearing in the first video,   wherein the monitored person appears in each of the first video and the second video.   
     
     
         3 . The person tracking apparatus according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the thumbnail image includes both of a head and a part of a body of the person of a standing posture.   
     
     
         4 . The person tracking apparatus according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the one or more non-transitory storage devices are configured to store the second video previously captured by the second camera.   
     
     
         5 . The person tracking apparatus according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the one or more processors are further configured to calculate a similarity between persons included by the thumbnail image and the one or more monitored persons appearing in the first video.   
     
     
         6 . The person tracking apparatus according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the thumbnail image includes the person determined to have a similarity value that is greater than a threshold value.   
     
     
         7 . The person tracking apparatus according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the thumbnail image is an image that shows a whole body of the person determined to have a similarity to the monitored person.   
     
     
         8 . A method comprising:
 receiving a first video captured by a first camera and a second video captured by a second camera; and   in response to determining a monitored person shown in the first video, cause a display device to display a thumbnail image with the first video in a same displayed screen, the thumbnail image being a part of the second video and including a person determined to have a similarity to the monitored person appearing in the first video,   wherein the monitored person appears in each of the first video and the second video.   
     
     
         9 . The method according to  claim 8 ,
 wherein the thumbnail image includes both of a head and a part of a body of the person of a standing posture.   
     
     
         10 . The method according to  claim 8 , further comprising:
 storing the second video previously captured by the second camera.   
     
     
         11 . The method according to  claim 8 , further comprising:
 calculating a similarity between persons included by the thumbnail image and the one or more monitored persons appearing in the first video.   
     
     
         12 . The method according to  claim 8 ,
 wherein the thumbnail image includes the person determined to have a similarity value that is greater than a threshold value.   
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 8 ,
 wherein the thumbnail image is an image that shows a whole body of the person determined to have a similarity to the monitored person.   
     
     
         14 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions, the instructions comprising: one or more instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a person tracking apparatus, cause the one or more processors to:
 receive a first video captured by a first camera and a second video captured by a second camera; and   in response to determining a monitored person shown in the first video, cause a display device to display a thumbnail image with the first video in a same displayed screen, the thumbnail image being a part of the second video and including a person determined to have a similarity to the monitored person appearing in the first video,   wherein the monitored person appears in each of the first video and the second video.   
     
     
         15 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 14 ,
 wherein the thumbnail image includes both of a head and a part of a body of the person of a standing posture.   
     
     
         16 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 14 , wherein the one or more instructions further cause the one or more processors to:
 store the second video previously captured by the second camera.   
     
     
         17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 14 , wherein the one or more instructions further cause the one or more processors to:
 calculate a similarity between persons included by the thumbnail image and the one or more monitored persons appearing in the first video.   
     
     
         18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 14 ,
 wherein the thumbnail image includes the person determined to have a similarity value that is greater than a threshold value.   
     
     
         19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 14 ,
 wherein the thumbnail image is an image that shows a whole body of the person determined to have a similarity to the monitored person.
