Abstract

A fluid funneling device for facilitating fluid transmission from a first opening. The fluid funneling device comprising: a funnel outer wall surrounding a funnel cavity; an upper wall connected to an upper rim of the outer wall via a connecting portion; and a fluid outlet for funneling fluid; wherein the connecting portion is configured to bias the upper wall in a first position, wherein the upper wall extends into the funnel cavity in the first position, whereby an interior side of the upper wall and an interior side of the outer wall define a funneling portion of the funnel cavity; and wherein the fluid outlet is configured to provide access to the funneling portion.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A fluid funneling device for facilitating fluid transmission from a first opening, the fluid funneling device comprising:
 a funnel outer wall surrounding a funnel cavity;   an upper wall connected to an upper rim of the outer wall via a connecting portion; and   a fluid outlet for funneling fluid;
 wherein said connecting portion is configured to bias the upper wall in a first position, wherein said upper wall extends into the funnel cavity in the first position, whereby an interior side of the upper wall and an interior side of the outer wall define a funneling portion of the funnel cavity; and
 wherein the fluid outlet is configured to provide access to the funneling portion.

         2 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , wherein the fluid outlet is a dispensing valve configured to control a flow of fluid from the funneling portion.

         3 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 wherein the connecting portion and/or the upper wall are resiliently flexible.

         4 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , wherein the upper wall is configured to move between the inwards first position and an outwards second position when a pressure exceeding a threshold is applied to the upper wall.

         5 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , wherein the outer wall comprises a substantially annular axial cross section; and, in the first position, the upper wall comprises a substantially parabolic transverse cross section.

         6 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , wherein the funneling portion extends at least partially around a circumference of the interior side of the upper wall.

         7 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , wherein a connecting portion thickness is lower than an upper wall thickness and an outer wall thickness.

         8 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , wherein, in the first position, the upper wall extends at least partially into the funnel cavity.

         9 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , further comprising a pressure releasing member.

         10 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , further comprising a wall separating member configured to prevent contact between the interior side of the upper wall and the interior side of the outer wall.

         11 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , further comprising a base portion extending from a lower rim of the outer wall, whereby the base portion is arranged to have a feature for attachment.

         12 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , wherein the components are integrally molded from an appropriate material.

         13 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , wherein the outer wall comprises a varying height from a lower face to a higher face.

         14 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , further comprising a baffle component attachable to the outer wall, having a baffle fluid outlet configured to control a fluid flow rate.

         15 . The fluid funneling device of claim 14 , wherein the baffle component comprises more than one baffle fluid outlet, each facilitating a different fluid flow rate.

         16 . The fluid funneling device of claim 14 , further comprising an interior valve arranged to control a fluid flow through the baffle disc.

         17 . The fluid funneling device of claim 16 , wherein the interior valve is a flexible flap protruding from an interior side of the outer wall.

         18 . The fluid funneling device of claim 16 , wherein the interior valve is a slit cut flexible surface of an inner portion of the baffle disc, configured to alternate between an open configuration and a closed configuration.

         19 . The fluid funneling device of claim 14 , wherein the upper wall comprises an outlet closing component configured to prevent fluid from flowing through the baffle fluid outlet when the upper wall is in the first position.

         20 . The fluid funneling device of claim 1 , further comprising a second fluid outlet arranged to facilitate a second flow rate different to a first flow-rate of the fluid outlet.

         21 . A method of manufacturing the fluid funneling device of claim 1 .

         22 . A fluid container comprising:
 an outer surface surrounding a fluid containing chamber; a neck comprising a first opening for providing access to the fluid containing chamber; and a fluid funneling device for facilitating fluid transmission from the first opening, the fluid funneling device comprising:
 a funnel outer wall surrounding a funnel cavity;
 an upper wall connected to an upper rim of the outer wall via a connecting portion; and
 a fluid outlet for funneling fluid;
 wherein said connecting portion is configured to bias the upper wall in a first position, wherein said upper wall extends into the funnel cavity in the first position, whereby an interior side of the upper wall and an interior side of the outer wall define a funneling portion of the funnel cavity; and
 wherein the fluid outlet is configured to provide access to the funneling portion, whereby the funneling portion facilitates fluid transmission from the first opening.
