Method and device for detecting configuration and violation of policy of terminal in wireless communication system
Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a 5 th generation (5G) or 6 th generation (6G) communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than a 4 th generation (4G) communication system such as long-term evolution (LTE). A method performed by a network data collection and analysis function (NWDAF) in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: receiving, from a policy control function (PCF), user equipment (UE) route selection policy (URSP) information relating to a UE policy to be applied to a UE; requesting session information that is being used by the UE, on the basis of the URSP information; requesting a report on traffic information for each application used by the UE on the basis of the URSP and the session information; and receiving the traffic information for each application from the UE.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 15 . (canceled)
16 . A method performed by a network data collection and analysis function (NWDAF) entity in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving, from a policy control function (PCF) entity, first information requesting analytics for user equipment (UE) traffic; transmitting, to a network entity, a message requesting data for the analytics; receiving, from the network entity, second information associated with the UE based on the message; generating the analytics for the UE traffic based on the second information; and transmitting, to the PCF entity, the generated analytics.
17 . The method of claim 16 ,
wherein the first information includes a UE identity (ID), an analytics ID, and an application ID, wherein the second information includes the UE ID, a single network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI), and a data network name (DNN).
18 . The method of claim 16 ,
wherein the analytics includes third information on the UE traffic, wherein the third information includes at least one of information on a UE selection policy (URSP) or information on traffic descriptor.
19 . The method of claim 16 ,
wherein the network entity includes at least one of a session management function (SMF) entity or a user plane function (UPF) entity.
20 . A method performed by a policy control function (PCF) entity in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
transmitting, to a network data analytics function (NWDAF) entity, first information requesting analytics for user equipment (UE) traffic; receiving, from the NWDAF entity, the analytics for the UE traffic, wherein the analytics for the UE traffic is based on second information collected for the analytics.
21 . The method of claim 20 ,
wherein the first information includes a UE identity (ID), an analytics ID, and an application ID, wherein the second information includes the UE ID, a single network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI), and a data network name (DNN).
22 . The method of claim 20 ,
wherein the analytics includes third information on the UE traffic, wherein the third information includes at least one of information on a UE selection policy (URSP) or information on traffic descriptor.
23 . The method of claim 22 , further comprising:
generating fourth information applying for the UE traffic based on the analytics; and transmitting the fourth information is associated with at least one of an updated URSP or an updated traffic descriptor.
24 . A network data collection and analysis function (NWDAF) entity in a wireless communication system, the NWDAF entity comprising:
a transceiver, and a controller coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
receive, from a policy control function (PCF) entity, first information requesting analytics for user equipment (UE) traffic;
transmit, to a network entity, a message requesting data for the analytics;
receive, from the network entity, second information associated with the UE based on the message;
generate the analytics for the UE traffic based on the second information; and
transmit, to the PCF entity, the generated analytics.
25 . The NWDAF entity of claim 24 ,
wherein the first information includes a UE identity (ID), an analytics ID, and an application ID, wherein the second information includes the UE ID, a single network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI), and a data network name (DNN).
26 . The NWDAF entity of claim 24 ,
wherein the analytics includes information on the UE traffic, wherein the information includes at least one of information on a UE route selection policy (URSP) or information on traffic descriptor.
27 . The NWDAF entity of claim 24 ,
wherein the network entity includes at least one of a session management function (SMF) entity or a user plane function (UPF) entity.
28 . A policy control function (PCF) entity in a wireless communication system, the PCF entity comprising:
a transceiver, and a controller coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
transmit, to a network data analytics function (NWDAF) entity, first information requesting analytics for user equipment (UE) traffic;
receive, from the NWDAF entity, the analytics for the UE traffic,
wherein the analytics for the UE traffic is based on second information collected for the analytics.
29 . The PCF entity of claim 28 ,
wherein the first information includes a UE identity (ID), an analytics ID, and an application ID, wherein the second information includes the UE ID, a single network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI), and a data network name (DNN).
30 . The PCF entity of claim 28 ,
wherein the analytics includes information on the UE traffic, wherein the information includes at least one of information on a UE route selection policy (URSP) or information on traffic descriptor.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
