Hair accessory device and method for applying the same to hair

Abstract

A hair accessory device having a plurality of hair beads that enables users to quickly apply to hair as part of a hairstyle. The hair accessory device comprises a plurality of hair beads, and a hanging hair bead. The hair beads are attached to one another in a linear arrangement and each hair bead is configured for insertion of a user's hair braid. The hanging hair bead is attached to at least one of the hair bead through a support member so as to swing freely as a pendulum. The hair accessory device is simply slid onto the hair and secured in place. The hair accessory device is more versatile and can be used to create a variety of hairstyles. The hair accessory device is a more convenient and less damaging way to apply multiple beads to the hair within less time.

The claimed invention is: 
     
         1 . A hair accessory device, comprising:
 a plurality of hair beads connected to one another, wherein said each hair bead is configured for insertion of a user's hair braid;   a fastening assembly configured for connecting said each hair bead of said plurality of hair beads; and   a hanging hair bead attached to at least one of said hair bead of said plurality of hair beads at a bottom through a support member so as to swing freely as a pendulum,   wherein said hanging hair bead is adapted to receive an end of the hair braid, thereby securing the hair braid end within said hanging hair bead,   wherein said hair accessory device is configured to enable a user to quickly apply to hair as part of a hairstyle.   
     
     
         2 . The hair accessory device of  claim 1 , wherein said fastening assembly includes an adhesive, wherein said adhesive includes at least one of a glue, a fabric glue, and a hot glue. 
     
     
         3 . The hair accessory device of  claim 1 , wherein said fastening assembly includes at least one elastic member for adhesively connecting said plurality of hair beads. 
     
     
         4 . The hair accessory device of  claim 1 , wherein said fastening assembly comprises:
 at least one connector configured to enable the user to detachably connect said plurality of hair beads to one another.   
     
     
         5 . The hair accessory device of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of hair beads is arranged in a group of at least four to ten hair beads. 
     
     
         6 . The hair accessory device of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of hair beads and said hanging hair bead are made of a material includes at least one of plastic, metal, glass, wood, and stone. 
     
     
         7 . The hair accessory device of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of hair beads and said hanging hair bead comprise a shape includes at least one of circle, triangle, square, rectangle, oval, diamond, star, and heart. 
     
     
         8 . The hair accessory device of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of hair beads and said hanging hair bead defining a channel for receiving the user's hair braid. 
     
     
         9 . The hair accessory device of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of hair beads and said hanging hair bead of said hair accessory device are secured to the user's hair through at least one or more elastic bands. 
     
     
         10 . A hair accessory device, comprising:
 a plurality of hair beads detachably connected to one another through at least one connector, wherein said each hair bead is configured for insertion of a user's hair braid; and   a hanging hair bead attached to at least one of said hair bead of said plurality of hair beads through a support member so as to swing freely as a pendulum, wherein said plurality of hair beads and said hanging hair bead defining a channel for receiving the user's hair braid,   wherein said hanging hair bead is adapted to receive an end of the hair braid, thereby securing the hair braid end within said hanging hair bead,   wherein said hair accessory device is configured to enable a user to quickly apply to hair as part of a hairstyle.   
     
     
         11 . The hair accessory device of  claim 10 , wherein said plurality of hair beads is arranged in a group comprising at least four to ten hair beads. 
     
     
         12 . The hair accessory device of  claim 10 , wherein said plurality of hair beads and said hanging hair bead are made of a material includes at least one of plastic, metal, glass, wood, and stone. 
     
     
         13 . The hair accessory device of  claim 10 , wherein said plurality of hair beads and said hanging hair bead comprise a shape includes at least one of circle, triangle, square, rectangle, oval, diamond, star, and heart. 
     
     
         14 . The hair accessory device of  claim 10 , wherein said plurality of hair beads and said hanging hair bead of said hair accessory device are secured to the user's hair through at least one or more elastic bands. 
     
     
         15 . A method of styling hair using a hair accessory device, comprising:
 parting hair into a plurality of sections;   braiding each section of hair into multiple hair braids;   sliding said hair accessory device from a distal end of each hair braid as part of a hairstyle,   wherein said hair accessory device comprises:
 a plurality of hair beads connected to one another, wherein said each hair bead is configured for insertion of a user's hair braid; 
 a fastening assembly configured for detachably connecting said each hair bead of said plurality of hair beads; and 
 a hanging hair bead attached to at least one of said hair bead of said plurality of hair beads at a bottom through a support member so as to swing freely as a pendulum, 
 wherein said hanging hair bead is adapted to receive an end of the hair braid, thereby securing the hair braid end within said hanging hair bead, 
 wherein said hair accessory device is configured to enable a user to quickly apply to hair as part of a hairstyle; and 
   inserting the distal end of each hair braid into said corresponding hanging hair bead of said hair accessory device.   
     
     
         16 . The hair accessory device of  claim 15 , wherein said plurality of hair beads and said hanging hair bead defining a channel for receiving the user's hair braid. 
     
     
         17 . The hair accessory device of  claim 15 , wherein said fastening assembly comprises:
 at least one connector configured to enable the user to detachably connect said plurality of hair beads to one another.   
     
     
         18 . The hair accessory device of  claim 15 , wherein said plurality of hair beads is arranged in a group comprising at least four to ten hair beads. 
     
     
         19 . The hair accessory device of  claim 15 , wherein said plurality of hair beads and said hanging hair bead are made of a material includes at least one of plastic, metal, glass, wood, and stone. 
     
     
         20 . The hair accessory device of  claim 15 , wherein said plurality of hair beads and said hanging hair bead comprise a shape includes at least one of circle, triangle, square, rectangle, oval, diamond, star, and heart.
