Abstract
A baseball cap having a head portion and a visor wherein the visor is movably between a first position and a second position. The visor of the baseball cap of the present invention is movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position the rearward edge of the visor is adjacent the front of the head portion of the baseball cap. In its second position, the visor has been slidably traversed along the visor extension member so as to be distal to the front of the head portion. The visor is slidably coupled to the visor extension member and is movable to alternate points therealong. The visor has operably coupled thereto a control wire and a control knob that are utilized to return the visor to its first position subsequent being placed in its second position.

1 . A baseball cap comprising:
a head portion, said head portion being dome shaped, said head portion having a front, said head portion having a cavity configured to receive a head therein; a visor, said visor being operably coupled to said head portion proximate a front thereof, said visor having a rearward edge, said visor extending outward from said head portion, said visor being movably mounted on a visor extension member, said visor extension member being mounted to said head portion, said visor extension member being perpendicular to said head portion extending outward therefrom; and wherein said visor is movable between a first position and a second position along said visor extension member.
2 . The baseball cap as recited in claim 1 , wherein in said first position said rearward edge of said visor is adjacent the front of the head portion.
3 . The baseball cap as recited in claim 2 , wherein in said second position, said visor is moved away from said front of said head portion extending outward from said visor extension member.
4 . The baseball cap as recited in claim 3 , and further including a control knob, said control knob be mounted on a rear area of said head portion.
5 . The baseball cap as recited in claim 4 , and further including a control wire, said control wire being operably coupled to said control knob and said visor, said control wire configured to facilitate movement of the visor from the second position to the first position.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
