Abstract

A mass production ice system for human consumption drinks includes a ice piece and cutting mechanism. The ice piece contains 188 milligrams or less of calcium carbonate and is formed by directionally freezing water from bottom to top using a refrigerant with a minus 30 degree Fahrenheit boiling point. A mechanically operated blade containing at least 14 percent chromium and specific carbon content cuts the ice piece into smaller six-sided pieces lacking visible defects. The blade has less than 10 teeth per inch and may include additional features like circular shape, specific tooth dimensions, and nickel content.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A mass production ice system for drinks for human consumption comprising:
 an ice piece comprising:
 188 milligrams of calcium carbonate or less, formed by freezing water with a refrigerant having a boiling point lower than minus 30 degree Fahrenheit to achieve hardness, formed by freezing the water in a cavity directionally from only the bottom of the cavity toward the top of the cavity;
 a cutting mechanism module comprising:
 a mechanically operated blade having a chromium content of 14 percent or more, a carbon content of 0.005 to 2.1 percent, less than 10 teeth per inch, wherein the blade cuts the ice piece into smaller ice pieces, each having six sides, lacking visible cracks and lacking visible chips.

         2 .

         3 .

         5 .

         6 .

         7 .

         8 . A mass production ice system for drinks for human consumption comprising:
 an ice piece comprising: 188 milligrams of calcium carbonate or less, formed by freezing water with a refrigerant having a boiling point lower than minus 30 degrees Fahrenheit to achieve hardness, formed by freezing the water in a cavity directionally from only the bottom of the cavity to the top of the cavity; a cutting mechanism module comprising: a mechanically operated blade having a chromium content of 16 percent or more, a carbon content of 0.005 to 0.016 percent, wherein the blade cuts the ice piece into smaller ice pieces, each having six sides, lacking visible cracks and lacking visible chips.

         9 . A mass production ice system for drinks for human consumption comprising:
 an ice piece comprising: 188 milligrams of calcium carbonate or less, formed by freezing water with a refrigerant having a boiling point lower than minus 30 degrees Fahrenheit, formed by freezing the water in a cavity directionally from only the bottom of the cavity toward the top of the cavity; a cutting mechanism module comprising: a mechanically operated blade having a chromium content of 14 percent or more, a carbon content of 0.005 to 2.1 percent, 1-6 teeth per inch, wherein the blade cuts the ice piece into smaller ice pieces, each having six sides, lacking visible cracks and lacking visible chips.
