Indoor unit including a plurality of fans and controlling method thereof
Abstract
An indoor unit is provided. The indoor unit includes: a plurality of fans, a temperature sensor and at least one processor, comprising processing circuitry, individually and/or collectively, configured to, based on an input for setting a mode of the indoor unit to a pet mode being received, set a mode of the indoor unit to the pet mode, and set a set temperature of the indoor unit to a specified temperature in the pet mode, drive a bottom fan among the plurality of fans, and control a temperature of a space where the indoor unit is located based on the set temperature and a temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An indoor unit comprising;
a plurality of fans; a temperature sensor; and at least one processor, comprising processing circuitry, individually and/or collectively, configured to: based on an input for setting a mode of the indoor unit to a pet mode being received, set a mode of the indoor unit to the pet mode; and set a set temperature of the indoor unit to a specified temperature in the pet mode, drive a bottom fan among the plurality of fans, and control a temperature of a space where the indoor unit is located based on the set temperature and a temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
2 . The indoor unit as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the plurality of fans are arranged in tiers; and
wherein the bottom fan is located at the lowest among the plurality of fans.
3 . The indoor unit as claimed in claim 1 , wherein at least one processor, individually and/or collectively, is configured to:
adjust the temperature detected by the temperature sensor based on a specified adjustment value, and control a temperature of a space where the indoor unit is located based on the adjusted temperature and the set temperature.
4 . The indoor unit as claimed in claim 3 , wherein at least one processor, individually and/or collectively, is configured to:
obtain the adjusted temperature by subtracting the specified adjustment value from the temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
5 . The indoor unit as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the indoor unit includes a first and second temperature sensors located at different heights; and
wherein at least one processor, individually and/or collectively, is configured to control a temperature of a space where the indoor unit is located based on a temperature detected by a temperature sensor located at a relatively low height among the first and second temperature sensors and the set temperature.
6 . The indoor unit as claimed in claim 1 , wherein at least one processor, individually and/or collectively, is configured to:
control a temperature of a space where the indoor unit is located based on a temperature received from an electronic device configured to detect a temperature of a space where the pet is located and the set temperature.
7 . The indoor unit as claimed in claim 1 , wherein at least one processor, individually and/or collectively, is configured to identify the specified temperature based on a type of pet selected by an input; and
wherein different types of pets have different lengths of fur.
8 . The indoor unit as claimed in claim 7 , wherein at least one processor, individually and/or collectively, is configured to, based on the selected pet being a long-haired pet, identify the specified temperature as a first temperature, and based on the selected pet being a short-haired pet, identify the specified temperature as a second temperature, and wherein the second temperature is higher than the first temperature.
9 . A method of controlling an indoor unit including a plurality of fans, the method comprising:
based on an input for setting a mode of the indoor unit to a pet mode being received, setting a mode of the indoor unit to the pet mode; and setting a set temperature of the indoor unit to a specified temperature in the pet mode, driving a bottom fan among the plurality of fans, and controlling a temperature of a space where the indoor unit is located based on the set temperature and a temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
10 . The method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the plurality of fans are arranged in tiers; and
wherein the bottom fan is located at the lowest among the plurality of fans.
11 . The method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the controlling comprises:
adjusting the temperature detected by the temperature sensor based on a specified adjustment value, and controlling a temperature of a space where the indoor unit is located based on the adjusted temperature and the set temperature.
12 . The method as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the controlling comprises:
obtaining the adjusted temperature by subtracting the specified adjustment value from the temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
13 . The method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the indoor unit includes a first and second temperature sensors located at different heights; and
wherein the controlling comprises controlling a temperature of a space where the indoor unit is located based on a temperature detected by a temperature sensor located at a relatively low height among the first and second temperature sensors and the set temperature.
14 . The method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the controlling comprises:
controlling a temperature of a space where the indoor unit is located based on a temperature received from an electronic device for detecting a temperature of a space where the pet is located and the set temperature.
15 . The method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the controlling comprises identifying the specified temperature based on a type of pet selected; and
wherein different types of pets have different lengths of fur.
16 . The method as claimed in claim 15 , wherein the controlling comprises:
being a long-haired pet, identifying the specified temperature as a first temperature, and based on the selected pet being a short-haired pet, identifying the specified temperature as a second temperature, and wherein the second temperature is higher than the first temperature.
17 . A non-transitory computer readable recording medium storing computer instructions that cause an indoor unit to perform an operation when executed by at least one processor of the indoor unit, wherein the operation comprises;
based on an input for setting a mode of the indoor unit to a pet mode being received, setting a mode of the indoor unit to the pet mode; and setting a set temperature of the indoor unit to a specified temperature in the pet mode, driving a bottom fan among the plurality of fans, and controlling a temperature of a space where the indoor unit is located based on the set temperature and a temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
18 . The medium as claimed in claim 17 , wherein the plurality of fans are arranged in tiers; and
wherein the bottom fan is located at the lowest among the plurality of fans.
19 . The medium as claimed in claim 17 , wherein the controlling comprises:
adjusting the temperature detected by the temperature sensor based on a specified adjustment value, and controlling a temperature of a space where the indoor unit is located based on the adjusted temperature and the set temperature.
20 . The medium as claimed in claim 19 , wherein the controlling comprises:
obtaining the adjusted temperature by subtracting the specified adjustment value from the temperature detected by the temperature sensor.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
