Net Holder

Abstract

Disclosed embodiments include a net holder system having a net mounted unit couplable with a net, a user-mounted unit couplable with a user, and wherein the net mounted unit also couples with the user-mounted unit to secure the net to the user. In some embodiments the net mounted unit includes a male mounting component and the user-mounted unit includes a female mounting component that couples the net mounted unit to the user-mounted unit.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A net holder system comprising:
 a net mounted unit couplable with a net;   a user-mounted unit couplable with a user; and   wherein the net mounted unit also couples with the user-mounted unit to secure the net to the user.   
     
     
         2 . The net holder system of  claim 1  wherein the net mounted unit comprises a male mounting component and the user-mounted unit comprises a female mounting component that couples the net mounted unit to the user-mounted unit. 
     
     
         3 . The net holder system of  claim 1  wherein the net mounted unit comprises a securement mechanism to couple the net mounted unit to the net. 
     
     
         4 . The net holder system of  claim 3  wherein the securement mechanism comprises adhesive. 
     
     
         5 . The net holder system of  claim 3  wherein the securement mechanism comprises straps. 
     
     
         6 . The net holder system of  claim 1  wherein the user-mounted unit comprises a belt clip. 
     
     
         7 . The net holder system of  claim 1  wherein the user-mounted unit comprises a retaining strap. 
     
     
         8 . The net holder system of  claim 1  wherein the user-mounted unit comprises a button to release the coupling of the net mounted unit and the user-mounted unit. 
     
     
         9 . The net holder system of  claim 8  wherein the button comprises retention structures that selectively couple to a portion of the net mounted unit. 
     
     
         10 . The net holder system of  claim 1  wherein the user-mounted unit comprises a retention device to assist in coupling the net mounted unit with the user-mounted unit. 
     
     
         11 . The net holder system of  claim 10  wherein the retention device comprises a magnet. 
     
     
         12 . The net holder system of  claim 2  wherein the net mounted unit comprises retention ribs and the user-mounted unit comprises a shoulder that the retention ribs couple with to hold the net mounted unit at a predetermined orientation with respect to the user-mounted unit. 
     
     
         13 . The net holder system of  claim 2  wherein the net mounted unit comprises a flat bearing face and the user-mounted unit comprises a reciprocal flat bearing face. 
     
     
         14 . The net holder system of  claim 1  wherein the net-mounted unit comprises a groove to assist in coupling the net mounted unit to a handle. 
     
     
         15 . The net holder system of  claim 1  wherein the net-mounted unit comprises a slot to assist in coupling the net mounted unit to a handle.
