Mastectomy Bra

Abstract

This invention relates to brassieres for people who have undergone mastectomies. This brassiere features cups with breast prosthetics that can drop down into a novel u-shaped pouch from the top, thereby allowing for a proper and secure fit with no chance of the prosthetic from slipping out. The prosthetics that can be lifted into the novel top pocket on the brassiere can vary in size such that the user can switch sizes upon her desire. The crisscross straps on the back of the bra create a tension that ensures that the prosthetics are securely positioned on the front.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A brassiere specifically designed for those who have had mastectomies comprising a novel U-shaped pouch inside said brassiere that opens from the top. 
     
     
         2 . The brassiere of  claim 1 , wherein said brassiere of  claim 1 , wherein prosthetics can drop down into said pouch. 
     
     
         3 . The brassiere of  claim 1 , wherein said brassiere incorporates criss-cross straps on the back of said bra which create a tension that ensures the prosthetics are securely positioned on the front of the bra. 
     
     
         4 . The brassiere of  claim 1 , wherein said brassiere can be used in bikini tops, swimsuits, workout bras, t-shirts, strapless tops, and night ware. 
     
     
         5 . The brassiere of  claim 2 , wherein the prosthetic inserts can be constructed using silicone or other similar flexible materials.
