Air conditioning enclosure device
Abstract
An air conditioning enclosure device includes a main body having a plurality of walls and a roof that defines an interior space. Louvers are provided along the roof and walls to permit airflow to the condenser unit stored within the interior space. Two vertical posts are provided along the front wall of the main body and are hingedly attached to a pair of post anchors. The main body rotates 90 degrees along the hinges to transition between a closed upright position and an open position. Two vertical posts on the back wall are connected to post anchors via latches to permit the device to be locked in the closed upright position. A lightning rod and ground cable is provided along the device body, and a mesh screen is provided to prevent debris and animals from passing through the louvers to contact the air condenser unit.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A device, comprising:
a main body having a front wall, a back wall, a pair of side walls and a roof that define an interior space; a plurality of openings that are located along each of the front wall, a back wall, a pair of side walls for permitting air to flow into and out of the interior space; a plurality of posts that extend from a bottom surface of the main body to the roof; and a plurality of post anchors that are configured to engage the plurality of posts, wherein the main body includes a shape and a size that is greater than a shape and a size of an air condenser unit, and wherein the interior space of the main body is configured to selectively encompass the air condenser unit.
2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the main body is configured to transition between a closed upright position, and an open position.
3 . The device of claim 2 , wherein in the closed upright position, the air condenser unit is positioned within the interior space of the main body.
4 . The device of claim 2 , wherein in the open position, the air condenser unit is not positioned within the interior space of the main body.
5 . The device of claim 2 , wherein in the closed upright position, each of the plurality of posts are in contact with each of the plurality of post anchors.
6 . The device of claim 2 , wherein in the open position at least one of the plurality of posts are not in contact with at least one of the plurality of post anchors.
7 . The device of claim 1 , wherein each of the front wall, the back wall, and pair of side walls include louvers.
8 . The device of claim 7 , further comprising:
a plurality of openings that are located along the roof.
9 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the roof includes a plurality of louvers.
10 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of posts includes a first pair of posts that are connected to the front wall, and a second pair of posts that are connected to the back wall.
11 . The device of claim 10 , wherein the plurality of post anchors includes a first pair of post anchors that are configured to engage the first pair of posts, and a second pair of post anchors that are configured to engage the second pair of posts.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
