Hose reel system

Abstract

In accordance with example embodiments a hose reel system including a layout guide is provided.

What is claimed: 
     
         1 . A mobile hose reel system comprising:
 a frame;   a pair of wheels attached to the frame to impart mobility to the frame;   a spool rotationally attached to the frame;   a driving member attached to the frame, the driving member being configured to rotate the spool;   a tongue pivotally attached to the frame, wherein the tongue has a coupling member configured to couple to a towing vehicle;   a first actuator configured to pivot the tongue with respect to the frame; and   a hose guide arranged at a front side of the spool, the hose guide being configured to move in a side-by-side manner to control a loading of hose on the spool.   
     
     
         2 . The mobile hose reel system of  claim 1 , wherein the driving member includes a multispeed motor and a slewing ring and the multispeed motor includes a pinion coupled to the slewing ring. 
     
     
         3 . The mobile hose reel system of  claim 1 , wherein the hose guide is between the coupling member and the spool. 
     
     
         4 . The mobile hose reel system of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a second actuator configured to move the hosed side in the side-by-side manner.   
     
     
         5 . The mobile hose reel system of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a second actuator, wherein the hose guide is pivotally connected to the frame and the second actuator is configured to pivot the hose guide.   
     
     
         6 . The mobile hose reel system of  claim 1 , wherein the driving member is a multispeed motor. 
     
     
         7 . The mobile hose reel system of  claim 1 , wherein the driving member includes a multispeed motor having a slewing ring and a pinion connected to the multispeed motor. 
     
     
         8 . The mobile hose reel system of  claim 7 , wherein the multispeed motor is a hydraulic multispeed motor. 
     
     
         9 . The hose reel system of  claim 1 , wherein the hose guide is between the coupling member and the spool. 
     
     
         10 . The hose reel system of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a layout guide having an arm pivotally connected to the frame.   
     
     
         11 . The hose reel system of  claim 10 , wherein the layout guide further includes a capture member configured to capture and guide a hose configured to provide manure to an agricultural field. 
     
     
         13 . The hose reel system of  claim 1 , wherein the spool is generally between the hose guide and the layout guide. 
     
     
         14 . A system comprising:
 a towing vehicle; and   the hose reel system of  claim 1  coupled to the towing vehicle by the coupling member.   
     
     
         15 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the hose reel system is pivoted by the first actuator so that a direction of travel of the towing vehicle is offset from a direction of travel of the hose reel system.
