Abstract
A package for a delivery system and a wrapper. One package includes an outer container having an access, and an inner container including a wrapper configured to surround at least one delivery system. The wrapper is sealed by the closure of its openings. The wrapper includes a first layer comprising a paper-based material and an extraction region in the wrapper. The inner container further includes a resealable label configured to cover the extraction region and having a peripheral portion that extends beyond the extraction region such that the extraction region of the inner container is sealed, when the label covers the extraction region. The label is peelable away from the wrapper during use to open the extraction region. Another package includes an outer container having an access, and an outer wrapper configured to surround the outer container of the package.

an outer container comprising an access; an inner container comprising a wrapper configured to surround at least one delivery system, the wrapper being sealed by the closure of it openings; and wherein the wrapper comprises a first layer comprising a paper based material and an extraction region in the wrapper; the inner container comprising a resealable label configured to cover the extraction region and having a peripheral portion that extends beyond the extraction region such that the extraction region of the inner container is sealed, when the label covers the extraction region; and wherein the label is peelable away from the wrapper during use to open the extraction region to provide access to the at least one delivery system.
2 . The package according to claim 1 , wherein the label comprises a tab which is configured to be gripped by a consumer to open the inner container.
3 . The package according to claim 1 , wherein the label comprises a tab which is attached to an inside surface of the lid.
4 . The package according to claim 1 , wherein the paper based material is a coated paper.
5 . The package according to claim 4 , wherein the coated paper comprises a paper layer with a barrier coating.
6 . The package according to claim 5 , wherein the barrier coating is a metallized layer.
7 . The package according to claim 5 , wherein the barrier coating is a plastic film coating or a varnish layer.
8 . The package according to claim 1 , wherein the paper based material is a barrier paper.
9 . The package according to claim 8 , wherein the barrier paper comprises a paper layer that is impregnated with a barrier material.
10 . The package according to claim 9 , wherein the barrier material is a plastic, varnish, or metal.
11 . The package according to claim 1 , wherein the wrapper further comprises a second layer.
12 . The package according to claim 11 , wherein the second layer comprises a metallized layer.
13 . The package according to claim 1 , wherein the wrapper further comprises a third layer.
14 . The package according to claim 13 , wherein the third layer comprises a plastic film coating or varnish layer.
15 . The package according to claim 1 , further comprising an inner frame located within the inner container.
16 . The package according to claim 1 , wherein each component of the package is formed from a material comprising the first layer of a paper based material.
17 . The package according to claim 1 , wherein the paper based material has a paper weight of less than 80 gsm, optionally less than 70 gsm, optionally less than 50 gsm, and optionally less than 45 gsm.
18 . The package according to claim 1 , wherein the wrapper further comprises a first clay layer on the inner surface of the first layer, and optionally, a second clay layer on the outer surface of the first layer.
19 . The package according to claim 18 , wherein one of the second layer and the third layer is applied on the inner surface of the first clay layer.
20 . The package according to claim 19 , wherein the other of the second layer and the third layer is applied on the inner surface of the second or third layer on the inner surface of the first clay layer.
21 . The package according to claim 1 , wherein the wrapper has a water vapour permeability of less than 8 g/m2/24 hr.
22 . The package according to claim 21 , wherein the wrapper is sealed at its overlapping edges.
23 . The package according to claim 22 , wherein the wrapper is sealed by adhered together overlapping edges of the wrapper when the wrapper is folded to form the inner container.
24 . The package according to claim 22 , wherein the wrapper comprises a continuous section of adhesive extending along each of the overlapping edges of the wrapper when the wrapper is folded to form the inner container.
25 . The package according to claim 24 , wherein the wrapper comprises a continuous section of adhesive extending around the whole perimeter of the inner surface of the wrapper.
26 . The package according to of claim 22 , wherein the sealed overlapping edges of the wrapper form a hermetic seal, such that the inner container is hermetically sealed before its first opening.
27 . The package according to claim 1 , further comprising an outer wrapper configured to surround the outer container of the package, the outer wrapper being sealed by the closure of its openings, wherein the outer wrapper comprises a first layer comprising a paper based material.
28 . A package for a delivery system, the package comprising:
an outer container comprising an access; and an outer wrapper configured to surround the outer container of the package, the outer wrapper being sealed by the closure of its openings, wherein the outer wrapper comprises a first layer comprising a paper based material.
29 . The package according to claim 28 , further comprising a inner frame located within the outer container.
30 . The package according to claim 28 , wherein the paper based material is a coated paper comprising a paper layer with a barrier coating.
31 . The package according to claim 30 , wherein the barrier coating is a metallised layer.
32 . The package according to claim 30 , wherein the barrier coating is a plastic film coating or a varnish layer.
33 . The package according to claim 28 , wherein the paper based material is a barrier paper comprising a paper layer that is impregnated with a barrier material.
34 . The package according to claim 33 , wherein the barrier material is a plastic, varnish, or metal.
35 . The package according to claim 28 , wherein the outer wrapper further comprises a second layer, and optionally, wherein the second layer comprises a metallized-layer.

42 . The package according to claim 41 , wherein the tamper evident means comprises a stamp partially located on the label and extending across the peripheral portion onto the wrapper.

44 . A wrapper for a container of a package for delivery systems, the wrapper comprising a first layer comprising a paper based material, and a barrier material.
45 . The wrapper according to claim 44 , wherein the paper based material is a coated paper comprising a paper layer coated with a barrier coating formed from the barrier material.
46 . The wrapper according to claim 45 , where the barrier material forming the barrier coating comprises a metallized layer.
47 . The wrapper according to claim 45 , wherein the barrier material forming the barrier coating comprises a plastic coating or a varnish layer.
48 . The wrapper according to claim 44 , wherein the paper based material is a barrier paper comprising a paper layer impregnated with the barrier material.

62 . The wrapper according to claim 61 , wherein the wrapper comprises a continuous section of adhesive extending around the whole perimeter of the inner surface of the wrapper.
63 . The wrapper according to claim 59 , wherein the sealed overlapping edges of the wrapper form a hermetic seal, such that the inner package is hermetically sealed before its first opening.
64 . The wrapper according to claim 44 , wherein the wrapper is configured to surround at least one delivery system and be located in an outer container of a package.
