Bed Frame

Abstract

A bedstead (bed frame) is described. The bedstead includes four frame elements attached in pairs to opposite sides of a base body via joints. The four frame elements are connected to leg elements on free front sides. The four frame elements are movable separately from each other.

         9 . A bedstead, comprising:
 a base body; and   four frame elements,   wherein the four frame elements are arranged in pairs on opposite sides of the base body,   wherein the four frame elements each have a fastened front side and a free front side,   wherein the fastened front sides of the four frame elements are connected to the base body via joints and are designed to be movable separately from each other,   wherein the four frame elements are connected and adapted to be reversibly connected to leg elements on their free front sides,   wherein two of the four frame elements are indirectly connected to each other via a movable crossbar, and   wherein the crossbar is mounted in a rolling manner between the two frame elements.   
     
     
         10 . The bedstead of  claim 9 , wherein two of the four frame elements are indirectly connected to each other via at least one separate support element. 
     
     
         11 . The bedstead of  claim 9 , wherein the joints are arranged on an upper side of the base body. 
     
     
         12 . The bedstead of  claim 9 , wherein the opposite sides of the base body on which the four frame elements are arranged in pairs, are long sides of the base body. 
     
     
         13 . The bedstead of  claim 9 , wherein at least one of the four frame elements is variable in length.
