Thermally insulated luggage system

Abstract

A luggage system is disclosed. The luggage system may include a rigid enclosure having a top opening at an enclosure top portion and a front opening at an enclosure front portion. The rigid enclosure may be cuboidal in shape. The luggage system may further include a top openable lid pivotally connected to the enclosure top portion, and a front openable lid pivotally connected to the enclosure front portion. The luggage system may further include a waterproof bag configured to divide an enclosure interior portion into a first storage area and a second storage area. The first storage area may be a cooler and the second storage area may be a luggage area. The waterproof bag may be a flexible bag that enables the luggage system to modify a first storage area volume and a second storage area volume.

That which is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A luggage system comprising:
 a rigid enclosure having a top opening at an enclosure top portion and a front opening at an enclosure front portion;   a top openable lid pivotally connected to the enclosure top portion;   a front openable lid pivotally connected to the enclosure front portion; and   a waterproof bag configured to divide an interior portion of the rigid enclosure into a first storage area and a second storage area, wherein the first storage area is a cooler and the second storage area is a luggage area, and   wherein the waterproof bag is a flexible bag that enables the luggage system to modify a first storage area volume and a second storage area volume.   
     
     
         2 . The luggage system of  claim 1 , wherein the waterproof bag is configured to longitudinally divide the interior portion into the first storage area and the second storage area. 
     
     
         3 . The luggage system of  claim 1 , wherein the top openable lid is a rigid lid. 
     
     
         4 . The luggage system of  claim 1 , wherein the top openable lid comprises a lip portion configured to seal the enclosure top portion via the top openable lid. 
     
     
         5 . The luggage system of  claim 1 , wherein the front openable lid is a rigid lid. 
     
     
         6 . The luggage system of  claim 1 , wherein the second storage area comprises one or more removable bins, and wherein the one or more removable bins are configured to store clothes. 
     
     
         7 . The luggage system of  claim 1 , wherein the waterproof bag is attached with the interior portion of the rigid enclosure. 
     
     
         8 . The luggage system of  claim 1 , wherein the waterproof bag is welded to the interior portion. 
     
     
         9 . The luggage system of  claim 1 , wherein the rigid enclosure is cuboidal in shape. 
     
     
         10 . The luggage system of  claim 1 , wherein the luggage system is a backpack luggage system, and wherein the backpack luggage system comprises straps at an enclosure back portion. 
     
     
         11 . The luggage system of  claim 1  further comprising a hatch cover lock to lock the top openable lid with the enclosure top portion. 
     
     
         12 . The luggage system of  claim 1 , wherein the first storage area is thermally insulated from the second storage area. 
     
     
         13 . The luggage system of  claim 1 , wherein the rigid enclosure is made of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Closed Cell Foam. 
     
     
         14 . The luggage system of  claim 1  further comprising Velcro straps on the enclosure front portion, wherein the Velcro straps are configured to attach one or more external components with the luggage system. 
     
     
         15 . The luggage system of  claim 1  further comprising bungee cords on the enclosure front portion. 
     
     
         16 . A luggage system comprising:
 a rigid enclosure having a top opening at an enclosure top portion and a front opening at an enclosure front portion;   a top openable lid pivotally connected to the enclosure top portion;   a front openable lid pivotally connected to the enclosure front portion; and   a waterproof bag configured to divide an enclosure interior portion into a first storage area and a second storage area, wherein the first storage area is a cooler and the second storage area is a luggage area, wherein the second storage area comprises one or more removable bins, and wherein the one or more removable bins are configured to store clothes, and   wherein the waterproof bag is a flexible bag that enables the luggage system to modify a first storage area volume and a second storage area volume.   
     
     
         17 . The luggage system of  claim 16 , wherein the waterproof bag is configured to longitudinally divide the interior portion into the first storage area and the second storage area. 
     
     
         18 . The luggage system of  claim 16 , wherein the waterproof bag is attached with the enclosure interior portion. 
     
     
         19 . The luggage system of  claim 16 , wherein the rigid enclosure is cuboidal in shape. 
     
     
         20 . A luggage system comprising:
 a rigid enclosure having a top opening at an enclosure top portion and a front opening at an enclosure front portion;   a top openable lid pivotally connected to the enclosure top portion;   a front openable lid pivotally connected to the enclosure front portion; and   a waterproof bag configured to divide an enclosure interior portion into a first storage area and a second storage area, wherein the first storage area is a cooler and the second storage area is a luggage area, and   wherein the waterproof bag is a flexible bag that enables the luggage system to modify a first storage area volume and a second storage area volume, and wherein the waterproof bag is configured to longitudinally divide the interior portion into the first storage area and the second storage area.
