Cannabis smoking game

Abstract

The invention relates to a novel cannabis smoking game using a plurality of cannabis smoking apparatuses or bongs each fitted with a removable funnel or catch cup attachment. The game is played on a flat surface with the plurality of the cannabis smoking apparatuses and removable funnel attachments arranged at opposite ends of the flat surface. The object of the game is to catch a thrown or bounced ball, preferably a ping-pong ball, in one of the funnel attachments where the losing player or team is required to smoke cannabis from the cannabis smoking apparatus after removal of the funnel or catch cup attachment. Preferably, the cannabis smoking apparatuses are tapered cylindrical cannabis smoking apparatuses.

1 . A  cannabis  smoking game comprising: six to twelve  cannabis  smoking apparatuses each having a cylindrical inhalation chamber with an open top portion and a bottom portion with a bottom closure, and a combustion bowl; one or more balls; six to twelve removable funnel attachments each having an open top portion capable of catching the thrown or bounced ball and a lower portion with a diameter suitable to fit within the top portion of the cylindrical inhalation chamber, wherein:
 (i) the removable funnel attachments are attached to the  cannabis  smoking apparatuses by inserting the bottom portion of the removable funnel attachment into the open top portion of the cylindrical inhalation chamber of the  cannabis  smoking apparatuses;   (ii) three to six of the  cannabis  smoking apparatuses with attached removable funnel attachments are arranged at opposite ends of a flat surface;   (iii) two or more players are divided into teams;   (iv) opposing teams of players take turns throwing or bouncing the ball across the flat surface with the objective of getting the ball into one of the attached removable funnel attachments of the  cannabis  smoking apparatuses arranged at the opposite end of the flat surface;   (v) if the ball successfully lands in one of the removable funnel attachments, the opposing team player removes the  cannabis  smoking apparatus with attached removable funnel attachment from the flat surface and removes the removable funnel attachment;   (vi) the opposing team player smokes  cannabis  from the combustion bowl of the  cannabis  smoking apparatus; and   (vii) the game continues repeating steps (iv) to (vi) until all of the  cannabis  smoking apparatus with attached removable funnel attachments are removed from the flat surface.   
     
     
         2 . The  cannabis  smoking game of  claim 1 , wherein the number of  cannabis  smoking apparatuses is twelve and the number of removable funnel attachments is twelve. 
     
     
         3 . The  cannabis  smoking game of  claim 1 , wherein the arranged  cannabis  smoking apparatuses with removable funnel attachments of step (ii) are arranged in a pyramidal arrangement at opposing ends on the flat surface. 
     
     
         4 . The  cannabis  smoking game of  claim 1 , wherein the cylindrical inhalation chamber is tapered from the bottom portion to the top portion. 
     
     
         5 . The  cannabis  smoking game of  claim 1 , wherein the ball is a ping-pong ball. 
     
     
         6 . The  cannabis  smoking game of  claim 1 , wherein  cannabis  is added to the combustion bowl of the  cannabis  smoking apparatuses prior to step (ii) or after step (v). 
     
     
         7 . The  cannabis  smoking game of  claim 1 , wherein water or other suitable liquid is added to the bottom portion of the cylindrical inhalation chambers of the  cannabis  smoking apparatuses prior to step (ii). 
     
     
         8 . A  cannabis  smoking apparatus with a removable funnel attachment for use in playing a  cannabis  smoking game comprising: a tapered cylindrical inhalation chamber having a lower portion with a bottom end having a removable closure adapted to contain water or other suitable liquid and an upper portion adapted to form with the surface of the water or suitable liquid a liquid-free region for collecting and containing smoke with an open top having a diameter suitable for inhalation by a player; a removable metal down stem having a top end that is disposed outside the tapered cylindrical inhalation chamber and a lower end that is disposed in the interior lower portion of the tapered cylindrical inhalation chamber adapted to contain water or other suitable liquid; a removable combustion bowl that is attached to the top end of the removable down stem; a removable bushing that encloses the portion of the metal down stem outside the tapered cylindrical inhalation chamber and the attached removable combustion bowl; and a removable funnel attachment having a top opening with a diameter capable of catching a thrown or bounced ball and an bottom portion having a diameter allowing the removable funnel attachment to fit within the open top of the tapered cylindrical inhalation chamber of the  cannabis  smoking apparatus. 
     
     
         9 . The  cannabis  smoking apparatus with a removable funnel attachment of  claim 8 , wherein the cylindrical inhalation chamber has an angle of taper from the bottom to the top of about 14 degrees to about 19 degrees from vertical. 
     
     
         10 . The  cannabis  smoking apparatus with a removable funnel attachment of  claim 9 , wherein the cylindrical inhalation chamber has an angle of taper from the bottom to the top of about 16.6 degrees. 
     
     
         11 . The  cannabis  smoking apparatus with a removable funnel attachment of  claim 8 , wherein the ball is a ping-pong ball. 
     
     
         12 . The  cannabis  smoking apparatus with a removable funnel attachment of  claim 8 , wherein the removable funnel attachment is removed from the  cannabis  smoking apparatus to allow the  cannabis  smoking apparatus to be used to smoke  cannabis  during the playing of the  cannabis  smoking game. 
     
     
         13 . The  cannabis  smoking apparatus with a removable funnel attachment of  claim 8 , wherein the tapered cylindrical inhalation chamber is stackable with other tapered cylindrical inhalation chambers for storage. 
     
     
         14 . The  cannabis  smoking apparatus with a removable funnel attachment of  claim 8 , wherein the removable funnel attachment is stackable with other removable funnel attachments for storage. 
     
     
         15 . The  cannabis  smoking apparatus with a removable funnel attachment of  claim 8 , wherein the  cannabis  smoking game involves catching in the removable funnel attachment a thrown or bounced ball. 
     
     
         16 . A  cannabis  smoking game comprising: twelve  cannabis  smoking apparatuses each having a tapered cylindrical inhalation chamber with an open top portion and a bottom portion with a removable bottom closure adapted to contain water or other suitable liquid in the bottom portion for smoking  cannabis , a metal down stem, and a combustion bowl; one or more ping-pong balls; twelve removable funnel attachments each having an open top end capable of catching a thrown or bounced ping-pong ball and a lower end with a diameter suitable to fit within the open top portion of the tapered cylindrical inhalation chamber, wherein:
 (i) the removable funnel attachments are attached to the  cannabis  smoking apparatuses by inserting the bottom end into the open top portion of the tapered cylindrical inhalation chamber of the  cannabis  smoking apparatuses;   (ii) six of the  cannabis  smoking apparatuses with attached removable funnel attachments are arranged at opposite ends of a flat surface;   (iii) two or more players are divided into teams;   (iv) opposing teams of players take turns throwing or bouncing the ping-pong ball across the flat surface with the objective of getting the ball into one of the attached removable funnel attachments of the  cannabis  smoking apparatuses arranged at the opposite end of the flat surface,   (v) if the ball successfully lands in one of the removable funnel attachments, the opposing team player removes the  cannabis  smoking apparatus with attached removable funnel attachment from the flat surface and removes the removable funnel attachment,   (vi) the opposing team player smokes  cannabis  from the combustion bowl of the  cannabis  smoking apparatus, and   (vii) the game continues repeating steps (iv) to (vi) until all of the  cannabis  smoking apparatus with attached removable funnel attachments are removed from the flat surface.   
     
     
         17 . The  cannabis  smoking game of  claim 16 , wherein the arranged  cannabis  smoking apparatuses with removable funnel attachments of step (ii) are arranged in a pyramidal arrangement at opposing ends on the flat surface. 
     
     
         18 . The  cannabis  smoking game of  claim 16 , wherein the tapered cylindrical inhalation chambers are stackable for storage. 
     
     
         19 . The  cannabis  smoking game of  claim 16 , wherein the removable funnel attachments are stackable for storage. 
     
     
         20 . The  cannabis  smoking game of  claim 16 , wherein water or other suitable liquid is added to the bottom portion of the cylindrical inhalation chambers of the  cannabis  smoking apparatuses prior to step (ii).
