Total Home Physical Therapy Device

Abstract

The present invention relates generally to the field of exercise devices. More specifically, the present invention relates to a total home physical therapy device that can be used to perform physical therapy exercises. The device is primarily comprised of at least one handle, a body, at least one spring, and at least one ball. The handle can be held in the hand of the user such that the ball can be inflated and can be used for inner thigh strengthening exercises that can be performed in a seated or laying position.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A multifunctional leg-strengthening device comprising:
 a first member;   a handle attached to the first member;   a connector rod; and   a ball.   
     
     
         2 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 1 , wherein the connector rod is comprised of a threaded connector rod. 
     
     
         3 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 2 , wherein the connector rod attaches to the first fastener via a ring fastener. 
     
     
         4 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 1 , wherein the handle threadedly attaches to the first member. 
     
     
         5 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 1 , wherein the connector rod is comprised of a locking member. 
     
     
         6 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 1 , wherein the ball is comprised of a honeycomb foam material. 
     
     
         7 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 1 , wherein the connector rod is positioned through the ball. 
     
     
         8 . A multifunctional leg-strengthening device comprising:
 a handle;   a first member connected to the handle;   a connector rod;   a weight; and   a locking member.   
     
     
         9 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 8 , wherein the connector rod is comprised of a threaded connector rod. 
     
     
         10 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 9 , wherein the connector rod attaches to the first member via a threaded attachment mechanism. 
     
     
         11 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 8 , wherein the connector rod is comprised of a locking member. 
     
     
         12 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 8 , wherein the weight is comprised of a circular weight. 
     
     
         13 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 8 , wherein the locking member is comprised of a clip, a clamp, or a threaded fastener. 
     
     
         14 . A multifunctional leg-strengthening device comprising:
 a first member;   a connector rod;   a weight; and   a locking member.   
     
     
         15 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 14 , wherein the connector rod is comprised of a threaded connector rod. 
     
     
         16 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 15 , wherein the connector rod attaches to the first member via a threaded attachment mechanism. 
     
     
         17 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 14 , wherein the locking member is positioned on the connector rod. 
     
     
         18 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 14 , wherein the weight is comprised of a circular weight. 
     
     
         19 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 14 , wherein the locking member is comprised of a clip, a clamp, or a threaded fastener. 
     
     
         20 . The multifunctional leg strengthening device of  claim 14 , wherein the multifunctional leg strengthening device is freestanding.
