Systems For Setting Anchor Bolts
Abstract
An Anchor Bolt Setter mechanism assembly designed to attach to various different types of pre-erected foundation forms in order to properly set anchor bolts to code specifications before the concrete is poured. The Anchor Bolt Setter (“ABS”) is robust and strong in order to withstand the force of pouring concrete. Different embodiments correspond with different types of foundation forms regardless of whether or not concrete is poured to the top of foundation forms, and support the many different sizes of anchor bolts in both width and length, suspending these anchor bolts before the concrete is poured. An anchor bolt is placed into the ABS bolt holder that corresponds with the desired location of the anchor bolt, and the ABS suspends and holds the anchor bolt in place against the force of pouring concrete. The ABS is removed after the concrete is cured and may be reused.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An Anchor Bolt Setter (ABS) system, comprising:
a top plate configured to securely connect to a foundation form; an end plate configured to securely connect to the foundation form; a single dual bolt holder (SBH) that is configured to securely connect to each of the top plate and the end plate, such that the combination can securely connect to any foundation form; wherein the SBH is configured to hold an anchor bolt vertically by its upper threaded end with the anchor bolt suspended below the SBH; wherein the SBH comprises a pair of protruding tubes configured to securely hold the anchor bolt in place, such that the anchor bolt is held vertically with the anchor bolt suspended below the SBH at a predetermined distance of 2, 4, or 6 inches from the wall.
2 . The ABS system of claim 1 , further comprising:
a flat extended surface, which is flat and extends out from the foundation form when the anchor bolt setter system is in use to hold an anchor bolt in place relative to the foundation form; and a first rib, which is vertical and extends out from the foundation form when the anchor bolt setter system is in use to hold an anchor bolt in place relative to the foundation form.
3 . An Anchor Bolt Setter system, comprising:
a top plate configured to securely connect to a foundation form; an end plate configured to securely connect to the foundation form; a triple dual bolt holder (TBH) that is configured to securely connect to each of the top plate and the end plate, such that the triple dual bolt holder can securely connect to any foundation form; wherein the TBH comprises three pairs of protruding tubes configured to securely hold the anchor bolt in place, such that the anchor bolt is held vertically with the anchor bolt suspended below the TBH when a worm key is used to securely clamp the protruding tube around the anchor bolt; wherein the TBH is configured to secure the anchor bolt in a position 2″, 4″, or 6″ from the form wall.
4 . The anchor bolt setter system of claim 3 , further comprising:
a flat extended surface, which is flat and extends out from the foundation form when the anchor bolt setter system is in use to hold an anchor bolt in place relative to the foundation form; a first rib, which is vertical and extends out from the foundation form when the anchor bolt setter system is in use to hold an anchor bolt in place relative to the foundation form; and a second rib, a third rib, and a fourth rib, each of which extends between a pair of protruding tubes and intersects at a right angle with each of the flat extended surface and the first rib.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
