Abstract

A high-strength and tear-resistant fabric includes a first fabric yarn made of polyester filament yarn and a second fabric yarn made of a composite yarn including polyethylene filament yarn and polyester filament yarn. The fabric has a mass percentage of polyethylene filament yarn between 15% and 50%. When the second fabric yarn is a twisted or untwisted composite yarn and the mass percentage of polyethylene filament yarn in the fabric is approximately 20% to 25%, the resulting fabric exhibits exceptionally ideal strength and tear-resistant characteristics while effectively reducing the production cost of the fabric.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A high-strength and tear-resistant fabric, comprising:
a first fabric yarn, the first fabric yarn being made of polyester filament yarn; and a second fabric yarn, the second fabric yarn being a composite yarn comprising polyethylene filament yarn and polyester filament yarn; wherein a mass percentage of the polyethylene filament yarn in the fabric is not less than 15% and not greater than 50%.

2 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 1 , wherein an elongation of the fabric is 1% to 10%.

3 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 1 , wherein the polyethylene filament yarn is a high-performance polyethylene filament.

4 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 3 , wherein the high-performance polyethylene filament is an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene filament.

5 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 1 , wherein the first fabric yarn is a warp yarn and the second fabric yarn is a weft yarn.

6 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 5 , wherein the second fabric yarn is an untwisted composite yarn.

7 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 6 , wherein the untwisted composite yarn has a polyester filament yarn as a core and a polyethylene filament yarn as a covering, and the covering at least partially covers the core.

8 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 7 , wherein the core is composed of at least one polyester filament yarn, and/or the covering is composed of at least one polyethylene filament yarn.

9 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 1 , wherein the second fabric yarn is a twisted composite yarn.

10 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 9 , wherein the polyethylene filament yarn in the twisted composite yarn is at least one filament, and/or the polyester filament yarn is at least one filament.

11 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 10 , wherein the polyethylene filament yarn and the polyester filament yarn in the second fabric yarn are twisted in an “S” or “Z” direction.

12 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 8 , wherein when the second fabric yarn is an untwisted composite yarn or a twisted composite yarn, a mass percentage of the polyethylene filament yarn in the second fabric yarn is 40% to 57%.

13 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 12 , wherein a linear density of the polyethylene filament yarn is 60 to 400 denier, and the linear density of the polyester filament yarn is 900 to 1000 denier.

14 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 13 , wherein the mass percentage of the polyethylene filament yarn in the fabric is 20% to 25%.

15 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 14 , wherein the fabric is a webbing.

16 . The high-strength and tear-resistant fabric according to claim 15 , wherein the webbing is a woven webbing or a knitted webbing.
