Abstract

A slope adjustment mechanism for treadmill may include a base fixedly arranged below the end of a treadmill body, a rotating member rotatably arranged on the base, and an adjustment bracket pivotally connected to the rotating member; the adjustment bracket is provided with an accommodation groove for partially placement of the base, the limiting mechanism is provided between the base and the adjustment bracket, which is used for limiting the adjustment bracket to a specified angle and limiting the further turning of the adjustment bracket; the damping mechanism with a damping force for limiting the adjustment bracket from axially moving along the rotating member is provided between the base and the adjustment bracket; the damping mechanism includes placing grooves recessed at the rotating member on both side walls of the accommodation groove.

A slope adjustment apparatus for a treadmill, the slope adjustment apparatus including a base ( 2 ) fixedly arranged below an end of a treadmill body ( 1 ), a rotating member ( 3 ) rotatably arranged on the base ( 2 ) and an adjustment bracket ( 4 ) pivotally connected to the rotating member ( 3 ), wherein an accommodation groove ( 5 ) is arranged on the adjustment bracket ( 4 ) for partially placement of the base ( 2 ), a limiting unit for limiting the adjustment bracket ( 4 ) to a specified angle and limiting the turning between the base ( 2 ) and the adjustment bracket ( 4 ), a damping unit with a damping force for limiting the adjustment bracket ( 4 ) from axial movement along the rotating member ( 3 ) is provided between the base ( 2 ) and the adjustment bracket ( 4 ); the damping unit including placing grooves ( 6 ) recessed at the rotating member ( 3 ) on two side walls of the accommodation groove ( 5 ), and support pads ( 7 ) embedded in the placing grooves ( 6 ) and abutted against the base ( 2 ) on opposite sides respectively; the support pads ( 7 ) are sleeved on the rotating member ( 3 ), and a thickness of each of the support pads ( 7 ) is greater than a depth of each of the placing groove ( 6 ). 
     
     
         2 . The slope adjustment apparatus for the treadmill according to  claim 1 , wherein the rotating member ( 3 ) includes a of locking bolt passing through the base ( 2 ) and the adjustment bracket ( 4 ), and the support pads ( 7 ) is are made of elastic material. 
     
     
         3 . The slope adjustment apparatus for the treadmill according to  claim 1 , wherein a connecting block ( 8 ) is provided between the support pads ( 7 ) and is connected to the support pads ( 7 ) at both ends respectively.

The slope adjustment apparatus for the treadmill according to  claim 1 , wherein the limiting unit includes a first limiting part for limiting the turning of the adjustment bracket ( 4 ) when the treadmill body ( 1 ) is in a horizontal state, and a second limiting part for limiting the turning of the adjustment bracket ( 4 ) when the treadmill body ( 1 ) is in an inclined state.

The A slope adjustment apparatus for the treadmill according to  claim 4 , wherein the first limiting part includes a first positioning hole ( 9 ) provided on the base ( 2 ), a positioning pin ( 10 ) provided in the first positioning hole ( 9 ), and a limiting groove ( 11 ) provided on the adjustment bracket ( 4 ) and abutted against the positioning pin ( 10 ) to limit the turning of the adjustment bracket ( 4 ).

The slope adjustment apparatus for the treadmill according to  claim 5 , wherein the first limiting part also includes an auxiliary positioning member, the auxiliary positioning member includes a second positioning hole ( 12 ) provided on the base ( 2 ), a plug hole ( 13 ) provided on the adjustment bracket ( 4 ) and aligned with the second positioning hole ( 12 ) when the adjustment bracket ( 4 ) is restricted from turning, and a pin ( 14 ) plugged into the second positioning hole ( 12 ) and the plug hole ( 13 ), and one end of the pin ( 14 ) is provided with a pull ring ( 15 ) for easy removal. 
     
     
         7 . The A slope adjustment apparatus for the treadmill according to  claim 4 , wherein the second limiting part includes a stop plane ( 16 ) arranged on a side of the adjustment bracket ( 4 ) facing away from the accommodating groove ( 5 ), when the adjustment bracket ( 4 ) turns over more than 90°, the stop plane ( 16 ) abuts against the treadmill body ( 1 ) to limit the further turning of the adjustment bracket ( 4 ). 
     
     
         8 . The slope adjustment apparatus for the treadmill according to  claim 1 , wherein the adjustment apparatus is symmetrically arranged on both sides of the treadmill body ( 1 ), and a roller ( 17 ) is arranged at one end of the adjustment bracket ( 4 ) away from the rotating member ( 3 ).
