Abstract
A computer program, a method, and a server device, all of which enable a further reduction in the possibility of increasing of the load to perform display control, as compared to conventional technologies, are provided. The computer program, method, and server device involve: acquiring first data pertaining to an avatar existing in a virtual space and being operated using a terminal of a first user; receiving, via a communication line, second data pertaining to avatars belonging to one or more users other than the first user, existing in the virtual space, and being operated using terminals of the respective users, the first data containing the position of the avatar of the first user, the second data containing the position of the avatars of the one or more users and/or the total number of avatars located in a first region within the virtual space among the avatars of the one or more users; judging whether or not the position of the avatar of the first user or the second data fulfills a prescribed condition; determining, if the prescribed condition is fulfilled, control data for controlling a display screen of the terminal of the first user; and controlling the display screen according to the control data.

24 . A method, comprising:
acquiring first data relating to a first position of a first avatar in a virtual space operated using a first terminal of a first user; determining whether or not the first position of the first avatar satisfies a first condition, the first condition being that the first position is located within a first region provided in the virtual space; receiving, from a server via a communication line, displaying data relating to a display area for displaying a message transmitted from a terminal of a user operating at least one of the first avatar existing within the first region and at least one avatar having existed within the first region in the past when the first position satisfies the first condition; and displaying the display area on the first terminal.
25 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the first region is a region in the virtual space different from a first virtual venue among at least one of virtual venues provided in the virtual space.
26 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the first data includes data relating to a predetermined operation by the first terminal on a virtual object provided in the first region.
27 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the first condition is that the first position is located within the first region and that a user operating the first avatar performs a predetermined operation on a virtual object.
28 . The method of claim 24 , wherein a virtual object is an object which a predetermined operation is performed to by a user operating the first avatar in the first region.
29 . The method of claim 24 , wherein a virtual object is an object which a predetermined operation was performed to the virtual object by a user operating the at least one avatar having existed in the past.
30 . A method, comprising:
receiving, via a communication line, first data concerning a first position from a first terminal of a first user controlling a first avatar in a virtual space, the first avatar existing in the first position; determining whether or not a first condition is satisfied, the first condition being that the first position is located within a first region provided in the virtual space; deciding a display area for displaying a message transmitted from a terminal of a user operating at least one of the first avatar existing within the first region and at least one avatar having existed within the first region in the past when the first condition is satisfied; and transmitting control data for controlling a display of the first terminal to display the display area to the first terminal via the communication line.
31 . The method of claim 30 , wherein the first region is a region in the virtual space different from a first virtual venue among at least one of virtual venues provided in the virtual space.
32 . The method of claim 30 , wherein the first data includes data relating to a predetermined operation by the first terminal on a virtual object provided in the first region.
33 . The method of claim 30 , wherein the first condition is that the first position is located within the first region and that a user operating the first avatar performs the predetermined operation on a virtual object.
34 . The method of claim 30 , wherein a virtual object is an object which a predetermined operation is performed to by a user operating the first avatar in the first region.
35 . The method of claim 30 , wherein a virtual object is an object which a predetermined operation was performed to the virtual object by a user operating the at least one avatar having existed in the past.
36 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a set of instructions that are executable by one or more processors of a system to cause the system to perform a method comprising:
acquiring first data relating to a first position of a first avatar in a virtual space operated using a first terminal of a first user; determining whether or not the first position of the first avatar satisfies a first condition, the first condition being that the first position is located within a first region provided in the virtual space; receiving, from a server via a communication line, displaying data relating to a display area for displaying a message transmitted from a terminal of a user operating at least one of the first avatar existing within the first region and at least one avatar having existed within the first region in the past when the first position satisfies the first condition; and displaying the display area on the first terminal.
37 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a set of instructions that are executable by one or more processors of a system to cause the system to perform a method comprising:
receiving, via a communication line, first data concerning a first position from a first terminal of a first user controlling a first avatar in a virtual space, the first avatar existing in the first position; determining whether or not a first condition is satisfied, the first condition being that the first position is located within a first region provided in the virtual space; deciding a display area for displaying a message transmitted from a terminal of a user operating at least one of the first avatar existing within the first region and at least one avatar having existed within the first region in the past when the first condition is satisfied; and transmitting control data for controlling a display of the first terminal to display the display area to the first terminal via the communication line.
38 . A server device, comprising:
at least one processor, wherein the processor is configured to: receive, via a communication line, first data concerning a first position from a first terminal of a first user controlling a first avatar in a virtual space, the first avatar existing in the first position; determine whether or not a first condition is satisfied, the first condition being that the first position is located within a first region provided in the virtual space; decide a display area for displaying a message transmitted from a terminal of a user operating at least one of the first avatar existing within the first region and at least one avatar having existed within the first region in the past when the first condition is satisfied; and transmit control data for controlling a display of the first terminal to display the display area to the first terminal via the communication line.
39 . The server of claim 38 , wherein the first region is a region in the virtual space different from a first virtual venue among at least one of virtual venues provided in the virtual space.
40 . The server of claim 38 , wherein the first data includes data relating to a predetermined operation by the first terminal on a virtual object provided in the first region.
41 . The server of claim 38 , wherein the first condition is that the first position is located within the first region and that a user operating the first avatar performs a predetermined operation on a virtual object.
42 . The server of claim 38 , wherein a virtual object is an object which a predetermined operation is performed to by a user operating the first avatar in the first region.
